3 Things To Do This Week In Las Vegas

If you haven’t already seen Rose.Rabbit.Lie. at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas you should put that at the top of your list. If you have seen the show then go in and have a drink, have dinner or just stick around for the late night action. An entire evening of entertainment that starts off at the bar for drinks and moves into dinner in the dinning room and soon you are seeing a show in the showroom. As the evening progresses find a room for some lounging and then wait until the dancing gets going. This is not your typical Las Vegas entertainment venue so you might want to plan on sticking around until very late. Dessert at Buddy V’s Ristorante inside the Palazzo shops should be on your radar simply because everyone needs some sweet stuff in their diet. You may be tempted to have some of the meatballs in a slightly sweet ragu but you don’t want to ruin your dessert. You might also consider some charred octopus or bucatini or even a full blown meal of veal marsala, but you have to listen to me when I say that filling up on the good stuff before the sweet stuff is not a good idea. Take someone with you because there is no way you can finish off Buddy’s XL Lobster tail, which is filled with custard cream and held inside a flaky shell of happiness. Also, try some Italian birthday cake because not treating yourself to those toasted almonds on the outside of that rum soaked cake would be a shame. Chef Buddy Valastro is TLC’s “Cake Boss” and after you spend time with the desserts you will understand why you need to skip your meals and go straight for the sweets. Jump off the Stratosphere Tower with SkyJump Las Vegas. It’s not really that high so you can’t use the excuse that you fear heights. Sure, it is almost 900 feet of falling and, yes, you can see all of Las Vegas from way up high above the Las Vegas Strip, but it’s not as if you are leaving a perfectly good airplane. This is better. They strap on a harness, explain the safety measures, and then allow you to enjoy one of the best views in all of Las Vegas right before you they ask you to jump. You descend in a controlled freefall and then you can visit the bar to ease your just-shaken nerves.
