5 Budget Friendly Activities in Vegas

5 Budget-Friendly Activities in Vegas
Let's be real - not everyone who comes to Las Vegas is a tech mogul high-roller, a Rich Kid of Instagram or even a person who's got it all "together." (Some of us have student loans to pay off, am I right?) But this doesn't mean that we can't smartly splurge on a trip to the City of Sin and hit every fun item on our To-Do lists. Here's how you can cross off five amazing activities in the city and not get a pesky overdraft fee.

KISS Monster Mini Golf
This neon, glowing haven of rock 'n' roll attitude is home to 18 holes of KISS-tastic mini golf. Located close to The Strip at Harmon & Paradise, you won't have to venture far from the rest of The Strip's beckoning attractions (plus save a little money on cab fare). Starting at only $11.95, you'll be able to play your way through 18 dayglow obstacles, themed around the iconic rock band's members and their instruments while listening to some truly awesome tunes. As you meander through the course, find iconic Vegas celebrities painted onto the walls and sneak a drink from your flask (as no alcohol is served). For the big finale, shoot your ball right down Gene Simmons' outstretched tongue ramp and proceed to the rock 'n' roll all night and party every day.

Container Park, Downtown Las Vegas
If you ever read "The Boxcar Kids" books when you were young and grew up into a Vegas-loving adult who's ready for a fun new experience, then Container Park couldn't be more perfect for you. (Conversely, if you've never read a book, this spot is still awesome & worth your time.) Stacks of large containers make up the collection of shops, restaurants, bars in the Downtown Vegas area, guarded by a gigantic praying mantis statue ready to erupt in flames every night for some free entertainment. Peruse the dozens of little shops with Bettie Page Boutique's sexy pin-up style clothing, Blumarble's cleverly repurposed alcohol bottles, and the beautiful artwork at Lil' Art Bodega. Top it off with a cocktail at The Boozery (how perfect is that name?) and get ready, because you're about to visit Pinches Tacos. Simple, fresh ingredients and years of experience make those tacos rise above the rest and are perfectly complemented with their guacamole and Mexican-style corn on the cob.

Monte BLVD, Monte Carlo Resort & Casino
If you haven't been to Monte Carlo in the last few months, you might notice some big changes to their Strip-facing facade and some awesome new spots to check out. Monte BLVD features a few new restaurants, bars and a general area for visitors to post up and people watch. Our tip? Visit later in the day when live music performers enhance the space at 4 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., adding an upbeat and urban atmosphere.

Sprinkles Cupcake ATM, The LINQ
Local sugar purveyor Sprinkles boasts the coolest piece of tech that any sweet tooth will immediately obsess over. Two words: CUPCAKE. ATM. Okay, that may technically be one word and an acronym, but just imagine eating your cupcake and read on. Pastel pink and situated in the middle of The LINQ, the Cupcake ATM on Sprinkles' patio means you need only to swipe your card (for around $4) and pick your preferred flavor. Here comes the fun part: A live video feed shows you the magic elf machinery working inside, picking up the appropriate box and pushing it right to the little door where you get to meet your delicious baked good. Simple, tasty and just good clean 21st century-livin'.

Pinball Hall of Fame
You've got to entertain the kid in yourself, and what better way than to hit up a pinball arcade? This spot, located on Tropicana's east side, is a favorite among locals and out-of-towners who know what's up. A nondescript 10,000 square foot building is home to hundreds of vintage games from the 1950s all the way to the 1990s. Take a virtual tour of the space here. From old school classics like Q-Bert and TRON, to Indiana Jones and Playboy-themed pinball machines, you will definitely find something to attempt your high score and make your mark.
