5 Spots to Visit This Weekend in Las Vegas
This weekend as you’re considering the nightlife of Las Vegas I’ll confuse you with a few options for things to do. Las Vegas is perfect for late nights at the clubs but I’m thinking you might need to diversify your Las Vegas experience.
What You Are Doing This Weekend In Las Vegas.
- The Mob Attraction at the Tropicana Las Vegas – Bring your acting chops because the minute you get into the attraction you’ll realize that you are part of the show. Keep your mouth shut, follow instructions and you won’t get whacked. If you make it out alive check out some of the genuine artifacts and bone up on your mob knowledge. When you walk up to the guy in the police station make sure to say the right things. I'd hate to see you...well, you've heard the rumors, right?
- Watch them hand pull the noodles at Beijing Noodle No. 9 at Caesars Palace. I typically get a seat right in front of the guy who is pulling, tugging and stretching the noodles and then watch as they dip them in to the boiling pot of water.
Be careful not to over order. The seats in front of the show kitchen have a tendency to influence your level of hunger. Watch enough dishes come of the kitchen and you will want to eat too much. - Wranglers vs. Grizzlies. Just because the NHL is in the middle of a labor lockout does not mean you can’t get some good hockey viewing in. The Las Vegas Wranglers take on the Utah Grizzlies Saturday and Sunday night at the Orleans Arena.
- Brad Garret’s Comedy Club at MGM Grand. If you get lucky Brad Garret makes a surprise visit and you get a fantastic show but you’ll still get some very good entertainment as some of the best comedians on the stand up circuit go up on stage at this club inside the MGM Grand.
- The Corn Chowder at McCall’s Heartland Grill at Stratosphere Hotel. You might want to dwell on the P B B & J Crostini that is a slice of decadent flavors. In fact you might be so inclined to order the Applewood Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Prawns but you have to listen to me when I tell you that the best thing on the menu is the Chowder. Blackened corn and beef tenderloin chowder will physically reconfigure your ability to taste soup again.
When you head back into work on Monday morning the discussion at the water cooler might be on what you did and who you met at a club in Las Vegas but the bonus will be just how much more you got out of your Las Vegas getaway.
