5 Thrilling Adventures in Las Vegas
Thrill seekers are hidden deep inside all of us. However, it usually takes some liquid courage or a foolish, juvenile bet to spark us into action. If you are looking for thrills, then you need look no further as we have a few options to help you load up on adrenaline while on a Las Vegas vacation.
El Loco at Adventuredome at Circus Circus – This is one of those rollercoasters that does not look all that bad when you look at it from afar. It seems compact and fun almost like that fun little cart that you loved on Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride at Disneyland. You remember the one that you thought was going to be fun and it ended up freaking you out. Well, El Loco starts out well enough as you get buckled in and then it starts moving. You go up and for about 5 seconds it is fun and then it becomes a thrilling adventure of upside down and leaning over and twisting and giggling. When you hang upside down for an eternity, you think about your mortality and then it is done…and then you race to get back in the line because you know you have to experience it again.
Manhattan Express at New York/New York – When you race high above Las Vegas Boulevard there is something really special about seeing the strip from this vantage point. You tend to question the limits of your sanity as you make twists, turns, and go upside down on this wild ride. This rollercoaster races out of the New York, New York Hotel and Casino and dances right beside the Statue of Liberty before turning you inside out and returning you back to the station. Yes, you do have to do it at least once.
Sky Jump at Stratosphere Tower – Breathe. Breathe again. Take a long look. Take another long look. Jump. It is that easy and soon you are on a controlled fall from the top of the Stratosphere Tower. The view is fabulous and you can be sure that the adrenaline will be pumping.
If you love the idea of a thrilling experience you can always go even bigger with Sky Combat Ace where you fly through the air above Las Vegas in a virtual dogfight with another airplane or perform air show type stunts while at the controls. This is the most intense attraction in Las Vegas and it is well worth the money. If you would rather keep your feet firmly planted on the dirt in the desert try out Las Vegas Rock Crawlers where you can experience the most heart pumping adventure available to anyone driving at 3 mile per hour.
