Bellagio Gardens “Spring Showers Bring Bountiful Flowers”
The temperature has started to rise in Las Vegas but spring is still blooming at Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. The climate controlled gardens are home to a bright display of spring in a stark contrast to what you might find in the desert environment that is southern Nevada. 8000+ flowers and plants have been arranged to celebrate the arrival of the warmer months and until May 11, 2014 you can take a stroll through this free attraction at Bellagio Resort.
Highlights of the “Spring Showers Bring Bountiful Flowers” at Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Gardens Display
- Take in the nightly free entertainment under the 45 foot tall cherry blossom that also happens to have a walkway with live koi fish swimming below you. Check out the video monitors where you can see exactly what the koi fish are doing under water via close circuit feed from the depths of the ponds at the garden.
- Mesmerize your senses with a long look at the over 800 butterflies inside the greenhouse in the center of the garden.
- Take a selfie with a shovel that is 22 feet tall or capture the caterpillars doing a dance for you.
The display is always free and is open 24 hours a day. As you leave a club or on your early morning walk you can take in the fresh scent of flowers and the bright colors to brighten your mood.

When you are done with the gardens don't forget the free show outside as the fountains go off and delight the crowds for free both during the day and when the sun goes down. Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art is also another place to go and get your "Un-Vegas" experience. If you have to have a little "Vegas" fun try HYDE Bellagio or Lily Bar and lounge. Before you head into Bank Nightclub consider dinner at Le Cirque for an experience in fine dining or head over to Sensi for a more casual approach to an elegant meal. Chef Roy at Sensi brings a little of his Hawaiian touches to a kitchen featuring a little bit of everything and whole lot of flavor.
