Bon Appetit’s Infamous Uncork’d Event Arrives in Vegas

Bon Appetit has taken over the Strip this week with its annual Vegas Uncork’d event held from May 8 – 11. A four-day culinary celebration offers a deluge of events with top-named, celebrity chefs like Mario Batali, Daniel Boulud, Giada de Laurentiis, Gordon Ramsay, Joël Robuchon and many more.

On Thursday, May 8, from 8 to 11 p.m., head to the Venetian for Asian-inspired dishes and drinks at The Night Market: East Meets West event. Don’t fill up though; at 10:30 p.m. you’ll want to join Mario Batali at B&B Burger & Beer. Here you can grub on amazing gourmet burgers with alcohol-infused milkshakes – just what you need to bring the 21-year-old kid out in you again. If you’re looking for something a little ‘je ne sais quoi’ on the Parisian side of life, then join Pierre Gagnaire and Shawn McClain at Aria for ‘flavor twists’ on French cuisine from 6 to 8 p.m.

Enjoy fall-off-the-bone roasted pig and other barbeque delights with Chef Michael Mina at MGM’s Grand Pool at 12:30 p.m. However, if you’re going to make at least one event during Uncork’d then definitely hit the Grand Tasting on Friday, May 9 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at Caesar’s Palace. You’ll get the best dishes from more than 50 chefs with 100 of the world’s best spirits and wines on the menu. The fun doesn’t stop here, from 10 p.m. to midnight, talk a short walk to Fizz Lounge, also at Caesar’s, for the Grand Tasting After Party.

Start Saturday off right with a game of golf as you rub elbows with some of the world’s finest gastronomes at the Mario Batali Foundation Swing Session Las Vegas Celebrity Golf Classic in Boulder City. If golf isn’t your thing, then dine at Le Cirque for lunch in the Bellagio with a special four-course meal accompanied by hand-selected wines to balance each course. Follow this with some sweet treats in your mouth at Payard Patisserie & Bistro inside of Caesar’s Palace at 7 p.m.

Haven’t had enough scrumptiousness? Snag a seat at Rao’s in Caesar’s for a slice of little Italy’s finest with The Feast of San Gennaro with Frank Pellegrino Sr. and Frank Pellegrino Jr.

You’ll definitely be very satisfied by the end of Sunday. Loosening your belt for the plane ride home may be in order.
