Bon Appétit Las Vegas: How Sin City Does French

The French have always had a way with food and preparing mouthwatering, beautiful and at times breath-taking dishes that aren’t comparable to anything that you’ve ever tasted before. When in Vegas, why not splurge on the meal of a lifetime and hit up one of the many French-cuisine based restaurants in town.

L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon
Inside the MGM Grand, L’Atelier is the creative venture of Joel Robuchon that features strong, yet creative French-focused plates across an array of menus – both prix fixe and a la carte. When dining at L’Atelier, it’s almost as if you’re getting a two-for-one deal with the entertainment of watching the chefs perform their magic in preparing your meal. Joel Robuchon combines innovative flavors from multiple cuisines to bring the most unique and quality flavors to the table. For example, the ham is cured for 36 months and the pigs are raised on acorns, which is why the meat has so much succulent flavor. You’ve heard of Joel as a world-renowned chef, now taste his culinary genius.

Guy Savoy
Guy Savoy is famous for preparing exquisite, detailed and delectable meals. There are a few prix fixe menus to choose from or you can always go with the a la carte options or seasonal specials, which is the best route, as you’ll get top-quality ingredients at the peak of perfection. Guy Savoy is a rather intimate environment, but if you decide to have a private party in the separate private dining room, special menus can be prepared for you. Before you leave, definitely make a stop into the Cognac Room for very rare and superb cognac or a glass of bubbly.

Bouchon Bistro
Take your dining to the next level with Bouchon at The Venetian. While there is a separate to-go front store for Bouchon to grab pastries, you’ll want to head to the restaurant for the exclusive dining experience. The menu is simple and changes often with the seasons, but no matter what you’re going to get a fresh plate of mind-blowing ingredients. Always a standard is the exceptional wine and cocktail list at Bouchon. The service is phenomenal and, if you’re really going to spoil yourself, go with the Foie Gras, a Galavantier favorite.

Mon Ami Gabi
One of the more affordable French restaurants on the list, Mon Ami Gabi offers the feel of a Parisian café, Mon Ami Gabi is located at the foot of the faux Eiffel Tower in Paris Hotel & Casino. With cute café tables lining the exterior, this is a great place to grab brunch on Sunday morning or for an elegant French dinner. It’s all in the details here, with items like fresh mint syrup on a bouquet of fresh fruit for breakfast or crème fraiche on your Croque Monsieur sandwich. Anything you order, you’ll thoroughly enjoy. And know that it’s not uncommon to order several desserts, it’s the best way to enjoy the most of your time at this restaurant.
