LBS: A Burger Joint - Home of the "Perfect Burger" is easily one of the best burgers in Las Vegas. LBS is located inside Red Rock Casino Resort Spa, about 20 minutes off The Strip, but well worth the trip if you are not staying at the property. LBS features organic ingredients, house-made recipes and upbeat, friendly service. Its roadhouse-chic rustic interior also makes LBS a cozy place to dine for both locals and visitors.
Rock 'n' roll casual is how LBS describes the atmosphere where they serve up gourmet burgers, without gourmet attitude. With its all-natural, gourmand burgers and a beer selection of more than three dozen domestic, imported and microbrew blends, LBS is a modern take on the classic American burger joint. LBS differentiates itself by using only hormone-free Hereford beef and organic turkey, house-made sauces, farm fresh, all-natural vegetables, and hand crafted buns; LBS is committed to culinary excellence.
LBS has one of the best burgers I've had in Las Vegas and it's easy to understand that you are eating organic food while enjoying your burger. The beef tastes a little better and the vegetables taste a little more crisp and fresh. In a fun twist on preparation, burgers are prepared in two ways pink (medium rare to medium) and not pink (medium well to well). I always order my burgers medium (pink at LBS) as there is much more juice and flavor, plus every burger I've had at LBS has been oozing with both. A basic burger is really good to get the natural flavor of the beef, but even something that may seem strange as a caprese burger (fresh mozzarella, tomato, pesto mayo) allows you to get a feeling for the great tasting beef as well as some fantastic ingredients.
Besides the burgers and excellent selection of draft beers, LBS also offers kicked up (boozy or virgin) milkshakes which I’m told are amazing. The burgers are so good that I never have room to mess around with shakes so I'll take other people's word for it. Also keep in mind that there are happy hour discounts during weekdays (3-6 p.m.) that offer $4 beer selections and 50% off appetizers, sliders and salads, giving you a great opportunity to explore the LBS menu.
Overall, LBS serves up a great burger and the Red Rock Casino Resort Spa and nearby mountains provide a perfect combination for a winning dining experience. If you are not familiar with the Summerlin area where the property is located, it's worth taking a trip to explore everything if you are already heading that direction for one of the best burgers in Las Vegas.
