Bunkhouse Amps Up Sin City’s Downtown Scene

With the Bunkhouse Saloon officially opened, folks visiting and living in Las Vegas are not only thrilled with the cleaned up divey-ish bar, but also with the ongoing lineup of Indy bands, the beverages and, well, the food.

There are a number of things people are raving about with the newly-opened venue and we can see why. A cool lineup of ongoing bands including RJD2 and Blonde Redhead at prices that are shockingly affordable. We’re talking like $5 to $20 depending on the band. Yep, that’s pretty inexpensive in Vegas, especially to see a live band.

Art Concepts Announced For Life Is Beautiful

As the 2014 Life Is Beautiful (LiB) festival slated for Oct. 24 – 26 gears up, the art portion of the already hefty lineup of entertainment is getting amped up with expanded programming over last year’s artistic concepts.

This year, there will be two reigning initiatives during the event – both with strong themes of interactivity. The first initiative participants will get a chance to enjoy includes a ‘live urban gallery’ with murals and installments throughout the streets of the festival.

Bellagio Gets An Amped Upgrade With Fountain Music

Downtown Las Vegas Events Center is Ready For Action

It’s officially opened and while the lineup may be sparse as of now, the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC) is expected to house a number of events with the ability to host up to 15,000 patrons.

The DLVEC hosted The Great Vegas Gridiron Grill-Off BBQ & Tailgate Festival last weekend (Sept. 6-7) with the next event scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 20 featuring a live performance by Capital Cities. The concert begins at 9 p.m. with special guests by Joywave. Tickets range from $25 to $35 and will take place outside rain or shine with standing room only.
