Drive An Off Road Race Truck
It would seem like any ordinary licensed driver could get into a truck and speed up. You know, just hit the gas and expect the truck to move through a race track. No. Not at all. “If you hit that turn to hard you’ll roll us. If you come off the jump and don’t hit the gas you won’t make it over properly. You have to hit the jump perpendicular to the edge or we’ll land wrong.” What? After a few instructions and a very slow practice lap I started my attack on this off road race track and wouldn’t you know it I was a little paranoid. My adrenaline was on high and I could feel the sweat dribbling out of my finger tips as I held on to the steering wheel. Two turns in and my first jump felt like a speed bump in the mall parking lot. My instructor screamed for me to hit the gas and I did. Hard. The truck went sailing through the air and I swear all I saw was blue sky for what seemed like ten seconds. It was probably half a second but everything moved by in slow motion. By the time I was done I felt like a pro. I wasn’t, but I felt like one.
Driving An Exotic Car Really Fast
They’ll teach you how to handle the car. They’ll show you how to shift gears. You already know how to act cool when sitting in a very nice car. Sit down, tighten your helmet and go for it. Your instructor is right beside you and he’ll do a good job of telling you when to shift and when to brake. He’ll even tell you to go faster if you are not pushing yourself.
Indoor Kart Racing
Maybe your idea of speed is a bit more muted. Don’t worry, you can hit the kart racing circuit and have just as much fun. You are lower to the ground and you really feel each and every turn. It’s also much less expensive for the same thrill.
