Vegas offers a wonderland of travel experiences from racing Ferraris to noshing on some of the best cuisine the world has to offer -- basically everything and anything you can imagine you can do in Vegas. Rockers Unite
Brooklyn Bowl
I love the Brooklyn Bowl. Period. This place combines three of my favorite things, well, four, actually - can’t forget that booze. In addition to booze you’ve got epic fried chicken (and I mean epic), bowling and live music. No matter what band is playing, it could be Wu Tang Clan or String Cheese Incident; it is always an amazing time. However, the best and only way to get the full Brooklyn Bowl experience you must, and I say must with guaranteed satisfaction, get a bowling lane during a show. Not only do you get to lounge on leather, tufted couches while your friends try for the strike, but you have amazing views of the stage and LED screens showing the concert over the lanes as you bowl.
Sayers Club
Infusing a little bit of the Los Angeles Sunset Strip into the Las Vegas Strip is none other than Sayers Club. It’s located inside of new SLS Hotel (otherwise known as the revamped Sahara Hotel) and this sweet club brings new meaning to getting up-close-and-personal with amazing musicians. Party with the rock stars as you lounge on oversized leather couches and drink the finest in mixology, or just get down with a glass of your fave whiskey, neat.
Downtown Shenanigans
Commonwealth
As the clock gets closer to striking midnight, you’ll not see any Cinderellas running out the door, but rather running to the rooftop dance floor as the DJ throws down inescapable booty-shakin’ music. An eclectic mix of some of the most beautiful hipsters you’ll ever see hang at this Fremont East hotspot. If you get a chance, ask the barkeep before he/she gets super busy as to the secret room, which is tiny as can be, but a great place to sneak away with that hottie you’ve been chattin’ up at the bar for a specialty libation of epic proportions.
Gold Spike
A little off of the beaten Downtown path, you’ll find Gold Spike Hotel, where an expansive wonderland of oversized games awaits you and your friends. A great place to stay entertained while chatting up that cutie at the cornhole game across the way in what has been dubbed ‘The Living Room.’ If the weather is nice enough, which it is 90 percent of the time in Vegas, head outside to the ‘Backyard’ where live, local bands usually set up shop. Plus there are a few games and excellent lounge furniture.
Nightclub Menagerie
XS Nightclub
When in Vegas, you must do as Vegas visitors do and head to at least a couple of nightclubs, if not several. While there is a barrage of nightclubs to choose from, we have some serious love for XS. You can find this gem inside Encore, one of the Wynn hotel properties on the Strip. With an outdoor pool section that gets raging on Sunday nights in the summer, this club is all about playing host to the world’s top DJs. It’s sexy, swanky and down right crazy letting you dance, drink and just party the night away. Get up-close-and-personal near the DJ booth on the winter nights when it’s too cool to go outside and trust us, you’ll stay plenty warm in this feisty hotspot where the beautiful people party.
Marquee Nightclub
Dancers cages swing above your head as confetti falls from the ceiling and colorful lasers bounce around the room. This is Marquee. Shots flow aplenty in this two-level hotspot that also brings in some pretty phenomenal DJs. Marquee employs some beautiful dancers to help liven up the mood and inspire you to shake your ass on the dance floor, which is exactly what you should be doing to make your Vegas venture that much better. Marquee has a secret room to help you escape the masses and really get to know that sexy patron you’ve been locking eyes with all night. Just ask a friendly staffer for directions to The Library. Hint: It just might be found via a set of stairs behind the LED screen.
The Perfect Nightcap
Drai’s After Hours
This gorgeous after hours venue will have you wishing you could have just started your night there. Decked out with 1920’s and 1930’s-themed pinup paintings and deep burgundy, you can’t go wrong with Mr. Drai’s choice of décor. While the DJs aren’t a main focal point for this venue, it is rather exclusive and the perfect place to get a nightcap or just party until the sun comes up over the Strip. After this, you can check out our guide to the 7 Best Places to Get Hangover Food.
Artisan Afterhours
This is a local hotspot, but it’s located just off of the Strip on Sahara Avenue, meaning a quick and cheap cab ride can keep your party going until well after the sun comes up. There are often themed nights and there’s always a DJ jamming to help keep your dancing going until the heels come off and the inhibitions lower (usually something that comes with a lot of booze).
A Classy Affair
Hyde Nightclub
This bourgeois venue is on the classier side of nightclubs, but don’t let that fool you, people still get cray cray up in here after a cocktail, or two, or 10. While it’s a little bit cozier on the inside, it makes for rubbing elbows with hotties even better. Now the epic spot, depending on the weather, is on the patio where you get a great view of the Strip and also get to watch the Bellagio Fountains go off. This club is all about poppin’ bottles and feeling like you own the night, which of course you do when in Vegas. Definitely hit up this club when in town.
1923 Bourbon & Burlesque
I know I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again and again. This is one of my favorite places in Vegas, hands down. I love the atmosphere, the dancers, the lounge singer and I especially love the whiskey. They have a cocktail menu that is out-of-this-world and will have you loosened up if the fiery lounge singer Skye comes to banter with you mic in hand. I keep going hoping it’ll be the night Ms. Holly Madison makes an appearance; after all, this is her joint.
Off The Strip
Sapphire’s Gentlemen’s Club
This gentlemen’s club is often rated Las Vegas’ number one strip club and with it serving both sexes by having female and male dancers, it can certainly make for a wild time. Something you need to know about going to the strip club: Never, ever pay for transportation. You should always get a limousine and it should always be free. (Of course we can help set you up, too). Now, you can up the ante on your party night out by going in on bottle service with your friends. VIP service at the gentlemen’s club is the only way to play like a baller in Vegas.
Hustler’s Gentlemen’s Club
A local’s favorite, Hustler Club is off the Strip, but if you’re on the Strip it’s extremely easy to get free transportation to and from the club. There are three rooms in this club including the main room. The third room in the back only opens up on really busy nights, but if you’re looking for some privacy this is the room for it. Beautiful betties abound in this hotspot, which, let’s face it, is a straight-up strip club. But, if you’re game, it is a great place to party and the ambiance is really fun – prime for shots & bottles of Champagne galore.
