Experience Bellagio Las Vegas

There is so much happening at Bellagio Las Vegas that you might be shocked at how little time you have spent here in the past. You have to carve out some time because some of the obvious reasons to walk in to Bellagio Las Vegas like the World’s largest Chocolate Fountains or “O” by Cirque du Soleil are dwarfed by the endless selection of quality attractions.

Sleep. Bellagio Las Vegas just went through a major renovation to completely overhaul their hotel rooms. They were nice before but now they have brightened up the colors, maximized the space and consolidated the furniture. What you end up with are rooms that feel bigger, with classy furnishings and updated color schemes. However, the highlight for me is the feel of the restrooms. The wall paper is enchanting and that gives me something to look at as I’m taking a long soak in the large bathtub. The views of the fountains are my first choice for rooms but I’m also satisfied if I looked down on the pool. I don't have to tell you that there is a reason Beallgio is among the best hotels in Las Vegas so you can assume that everything is top notch.

Eat. You can at eat under the stars with a view of the fountains at Picassso, PRIME, Olives and Yellowtail. Olives is the right spot for lunch and it is the most affordable of the four. My typically dining choices at Bellagio are usually Le Cirque, Sensi and Noodles. Le Cirque is is contemporary French cuisine however I’ll tell you that it is the ultimate in dining experiences. The staff is among the best in Las Vegas and they make you feel comfortable and relaxed. This is fine dining where laughing and smiling are encouraged. A different approach to food is taken at Sensi where four kitchens come up with so much excitement that your meal will last a long time as you ponder Italian, Asian, American and seafood choices. Eat at the bar and you’ll be impressed with the Bellagio version of fast food.

Dance. The Las Vegas nightlife scene is alive and well at Bellagio. Walk in to The Bank and you get that feeling that only comes from elegance and intimate rooms where the details are cared for. It’s not the super club where five rooms and 12 DJ’s are spinning every possible choice. The club is an elevated experience with a touch of intimacy and a boutique feel. My choice to start the evening is at the Petrossian Bar where a cocktail and a conversation always bleed into a few hours of laughter and critical exploration into the field of mixology. Lily Bar and lounge will also house you while you enjoy a drink and enjoy a midday game on their giant screens around the room.

See. You’ll check in under a Dale Chihuly galss sculpture that is composed of 2,000 hand blow glass blossoms. Fiori di Como is one of those only in Las Vegas impressive pieces of art that you must see. Your friends will head to the Fountains of Bellagio and swoon and sway as the dancing music elevates their mood while you’ll head in to the Gallery of Fine Art where an intimate art viewing experience awaits. The space is the right size to enjoy the latest exhibition: Warhol Out West, February 8, 2013 – October 27, 2013. You should also take a stroll through the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens where the seasonal displays will fascinate you as plants, flowers and trees are incorporated into scenes that highlight the particular time of year.
