Free Fall Into Skydiving Heaven in Vegas
Take a deep breath and just jump! We're going to harness your secret agent skills and your inner adrenaline junkie during your trip to Vegas, so skydiving is a must. Whether you do it indoors on the Strip or in the gorgeous outdoors of Nevada, this is one of the best places to get your free fall on. So sign this waiver right here - yes, just below that line about dying and how it would be anyone's fault but your own, and we'll get right to it!
Vegas Indoor Skydiving
Let's start small and explore Vegas Indoor Skydiving for those of you not quite ready to chuck your body out of a perfectly good airplane. Visited by both pros and first-timers, Indoor Skydiving is a crazy amount of fun and you'll still get a bit of an adrenaline rush when you jump over the wind tunnel spinning below you. You'll get hands-on instruction before and during your "jump" from their team of friendly, patient and helpful staff. They know exactly what you should be doing for a great jump versus what your panicked body might be trying to do, and have set up a series of simple gestures to communicate with you visibly, since you can't really hear anything in the wind tunnel. You'll have your crew of about five people inside and your instructor will have you each lie on the grate as the turn the fan up to "super 'effing fast" and away you'll float. For your next jumps, you can go in and out of the wind stream like a pro and if you're doing well, your instructor will help you fly higher, spin, flip and complete whatever badass moves you're daring and balanced enough to make.
Skydive Las Vegas
Ready to free fall with the big boys? Time for skydiving in the delicate atmosphere of our little planet Earth with the team at Skydive Las Vegas. These guys have been jumping since 1993 and can accommodate both newbies and seasoned professionals. They'll walk you through a much more thorough walkthrough than what you'd experience at Vegas Indoor Skydive (and rightfully so) before you head into the plane. While you're up there trying ever-so-hard not to freak out, you can look out your window to see Red Rock, the Strip, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and more beautiful scenery. Who knows, maybe looking at nature's glory will help you from blacking out or crying for your mommy...? Here's where it all goes down - 15,000 feet in altitude and your entire heart in your stomach. Lucky for you, you've got a pro strapped to your back that's going to help you make the leap and, more importantly, make the landing.
Congratulations, you're alive and have gained 100 points in badassery! As always, we're ready to get your adrenaline pumping and your Vegas vacations optimized, so peruse Galavantier.com and tweet us if you want to chat about your upcoming trip.
