Galavantier Itinerary: 24 Hours at Palazzo Las Vegas
Can one day really make a vacation? Can 24 hours change your perspective? Can it help you relax? Revitalize? Re-charge? I think so. If you took one day to do nothing but think of yourself and focus on your well being it could make a difference.
The place to do that? Pallazo Las Vegas.
Prestige Level
Check–in to the Palazzo but instead of the traditional route go with the Prestige level package. You’ll get a champagne check–in and access to the Prestige Lounge that will give you a spot to head for afternoon drinks and a continental breakfast. More importantly the personal service goes way up and if you want some special bath salts or the perfect pillows they can get that for you. You can choose to sit along the windows and gaze out to the Las Vegas strip or enjoy a cocktail while reading a book and melting in to the giant sofas in the spacious lounge.
Lunch
An afternoon of comfort food while involved in fun, casual conversation is good for the soul so while you could choose from casual spots such as I Love Burgers, Grimaldi’s or Taqueria Canonita, I’m sending you to Enoteca Otto. Sit in the Piazza San Marco and take in the sites of the in door piazza in the Grand Canal Shoppes. The atmosphere is festive, the wine list is extensive and a bowl of pasta is as comfortable as it gets. Take a long lunch and feel your soul accept the Las Vegas way of life.
Canyon Ranch Spa
Don’t get too comfortable because as part of your one day at Palazzo you should experience Canyon Ranch Spa. I would choose one of the many treatments that will help you with your goal of ultimate relaxation such as the tension zone therapy that works those areas that are burdened by our daily lives or go with a visit to the Canyon Ranch Healthy Feet Center. Oh yeah, someone will rub your feet for 45 minutes, no questions asked. That is pure relaxation.
The Pool
There’s no need to hurry back to the room. Get some afternoon sun at the pool before your evening gets going. The Azure pool is the adult section and while that might be attractive the regular pool deck is just as fun with hot tubs scattered around and seven different spots to soak into some relaxation.
Dinner and Dancing
Steak lovers get super excited about the choices at this property. CUT, Delmonico and Carnevino are among the best places for beef in Las Vegas. I’ll suggest LAVO instead. Frankly, I like to start my Las Vegas evening with a giant meatball and a bottle of red wine. I also like the idea of walking up to the club after dinner and bypassing the line. You’ll have a fun meal at LAVO and then dance until you are satisfied at LAVO Nightclub.
The Next Morning
So you had a great day in Las Vegas and your quick trip has to end but don’t let it go away without a visit to Bouchon at the Venetian. Deep coffee flavor, the scent of freshly baked pastries and some hash. Thomas Keller does it so well for breakfast you’ll always return for just a little something.
