Do you know the feeling you get when the stress melts away? Have you taken that deep breath in a sauna and felt the pain of your daily responsibilities disappear? I get that at Green Valley Ranch. The spa has that soothing effect on me but the hotel does as well. Comfortable with a touch of subdued luxury and all the little things that make a getaway special is the best way to describe Green Valley ranch.

Sleep. You can get some decent views of the city but make sure you ask for a room with a view. The décor, the mood and the amenities are impressive for an off strip property and with all the options available you might not ever see the strip except from your window. This is one of those properties that if you need to go big they can accommodate you with some luxury suites that are better priced than what you would find on the strip. The standard Executive Suite has a bathroom I would kill for with enough space to have a small dinner party in. Why you would have a dinner party in a restroom is one of the reasons why you go to Las Vegas. Why not?

Eat. If you’re craving Italian cuisine Terra Verde is open for lunch and dinner and is affordable and family friendly. You should be heading to Green Valley Ranch to try Sushi + Sake simply because they do a good job giving you plenty for less. It is one of the better deals in Las Vegas. Casual food choices range from Fatburger and Panda Express to Grand Café and the Feast Buffet.

Relax. The spa does the trick for me as it gives you a sense of relaxation. Head out to the pool and you’ll enjoy that kids have a spot to play while adults have a pool to be adults. Dip your toes deep into the sand and enjoy the sunshine. The Spa is one of the favorites among locals. Combine a day of working out with a body treatment and you the recipe for the perfect Las Vegas getaway.

Experience. After a day at the Spa I’m eating at the Oyster Bar and then I’m catching a movie followed by a drink at the drop bar and then if I’m lucky I can get some live entertainment at the Ovation Lounge. Quinns Irish Pub serves a decent pint and is a good place to waste away an afternoon while on holiday.

Green Valley Ranch is set up perfectly for families with a movie theater, arcade and large pool area. Need some shopping? Perfect, the District at Green Valley Ranch is right there for you to enhance your experience. The dining options multiply and the opportunity to take in a different Las Vegas is just a few steps from your hotel suite.

Green Valley Ranch offers a complimentary shuttle to the airport as well as a shuttle to the strip. The strip shuttle picks up and drops off at Mandalay Bay Hotel 4 times each day. It’s a quick 20 minute drive away in Henderson if you have your own vehicle.
