Hotel Addict: Lobby Lounge at Trump International Las Vegas

If you’re one of those people that thinks Vegas just isn’t Vegas without the slot machines, cocktail waitresses and the smell of cigarette smoke, then you don’t really know this town. Trump International Hotel Las Vegas is one of the few hotels that’s casino free, but there’s no shortage of the fabulous Las Vegas vibe.

Once you’ve been escorted by the valet through the revolving doors, behold a seriously luxurious space. Look up and you’ll find a beautifully detailed ceiling with geometric molding. Look left to find enormous columns covered in Swarovski crystals. Stand still and you smell a sweet floral aroma filling the space. Impressive right?

Trump Hotel Las Vegas prides itself on noteworthy extravagance. So instead of bar in the center of an electric maze, you will find a quaint lounge, perfect for pre-going out drinks, arrival libations or even nightcaps. The DJT Lounge space is marked by a glamorous modern bar with adjacent contemporary furnishing fit for any lover of the good life. Think plush velvet couches and high-back chairs.

Order something classic like a sidecar or a Manhattan, for some reason, a cranberry vodka seems a little to subtle for this space. If you’re into wine, you’ll be pleased when sipping here. You can take you pick from a pretty impressive international beer and wine list. Oh and feel free to snag a small bit while you’re here--that’s totally acceptable. Spend your mornings here with an AM cocktail and the paper (they open at 6:30 a.m.) or your late nights (they close at 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; midnight Sunday through Thursday).
