How Women Do Las Vegas

Getting the girls together for a trip to Vegas is not as common as the guy trip and the reason is simple. Women are smarter than men (take it easy, as a guy I not only understand this, I accept it as fact and that allows me to lead a happier, less stressed life).

Women go to Las Vegas. Women have fun in Las Vegas. Women might even get into trouble in Las Vegas. We just don't here about it because women are smarter than men.

Simple, right?

So what do the girls do in Las Vegas?

They start the night at a spot like Scarlet at Palms. Four seats in a boutique bar tucked away in the corner of the casino. They laugh with the bartender and have an intimate cocktail experience. Maybe they order a Vacation in Brazil or a Scarlet Night, but we don't know that because they don't broadcast it on their Instagram account. I have seen these groups of women at Bar Vdara at Vdara Hotel, chatting up Max the Bartender at Delmonico’s at Venetian Las Vegas. Oh, how he loves to make the classic cocktails for women who chat him up at the bar.

The women on a girl’s weekend away can be seen sharing small plates at La Cave at Wynn before heading into XS or at Crush at MGM Grand before walking into Hakkasan. Come to think of it, I have run into them at the bar at Hakkasan and then again at the Ling Ling lounge. You recognize these women if you see them. They are not party girls, no, just a group of women who know exactly how to have a good time.

You'll see them at breakfast at Verandah at the Four Seasons or Bouchon at Venetian. On occasion you might even notice them indulging in too much chocolate at Jean Philippe at Bellagio. They always look ready for a day of Las Vegas fun.

These are the women you'll see doing yoga with the Dolphins at the Mirage or highlighting classes with a gold wristband on at Canyon Ranch Spa. The spa day is defined by a facial at Qua Spa followed by hair at Michael Boychuk.

Yeah, I have run into these women so often that I envy them. All of this fun and they keep it all to themselves.

You'll see them at airport. They look refreshed and slightly coy about their time away. You can only imagine how much fun they had and the truth is you'll really never know what they did because the girls trip really stays amongst the girls.
