It's Official, Summer Commences In Sin City
It’s official, summer is in full swing in Las Vegas and you know what that means… pool parties, dancing until dawn, festivals and pretty much partying all night and all day.
Vegas never sounded so good, baby.
The thermometer has definitely surpassed the 95-degree level and is slowly rising as summer kicks off. This means that the pool parties are going to be pretty incredible with a lot of skin showing and even more eye candy to check out.
Take, for example, the two main bikini contests happening all summer with the Hot 100 at Wet Republic Ultra Pool and the Bikini Invitational at REHAB Beach Club. Both pool parties occur over the course of the summer every few weeks with the chance for the ladies to win their share of $100,000 in cash and prizes. The Hot 100 is hosted on Fridays while the Bikini Invitational is on Saturdays.
This summer, one of our fav experiences is back with the epic nightswims, which is basically partying at night in the pool AND at the club. You can dress in fashionable swim attire or your sexy nightclub threads, whatever you prefer.
During EDC Week, Yellow Claw will be hosting a nightswim at Surrender Nightclub/Encore Beach Club whereas you can check out the weekly nightswims at Drai’s Beach Club, XS Nightclub, Wet Republic Ultra Pool and Daylight Beach Club.
While they say EDC Week has always had a full and quite incredible lineup, it appears to have expanded this year compared to previous years. The festivities ‘technically’ start on Monday, June 12 and last through to Monday, June 19, but it’s Vegas so it’s pretty much already started.
This year all the main EDM-friendly clubs will be hosting the best DJ’s (click here for full list), it seems REHAB Beach Club is even leaning a bit more toward EDM this summer than its usual hip hop mainstay, The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel is also playing host to a DJ set as well as Liquid Pool.
EDC Vegas begins on Friday, June 16 and occurs on June 17 and June 18. It is again hosted at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and you’ll likely see a flood of colorful and scantily clad outfitted partyers about town before and after this event.
Don’t worry, for those that aren’t into electronic dance music (EDM) or want some variety then head to Chateau, 1OAK, Ghostbar or VooDoo Lounge for some variety in music from EDM.
You can even check out the Backstreet Boys Official After Party at Chateau Nightclub (two times a week) following their residency shows at Planet Hollywood’s Axis Theater. Whatever you’re into, then it’s probably in Vegas. Who knew the Backstreet Boys would be hosting a Vegas residency?!
