Your Guide to Route 91 Harvest Festival - 2016
Any chance you’ve been living under a rock lately? If so, be sure to open your eyes and ears September 30 - October 2nd weekend as over 25,000 country music fans descend upon Las Vegas for the city’s 3rd annual Route 91 Harvest Festival, donning a variety of cowboy hats, boots, and of course -- strategically placed blue denim!
You’d be hard pressed to find someone more familiar with the curve-accentuating quality of blue denim than country music star David Nail. His track, “Whatever She’s Got,” describes his object of affection’s blue jeans as “painted on tight” and achieved #1 certification on the U.S. country music airplay charts in 2013.
If you haven’t had a chance to witness Nail sing recent hits “Kiss You Tonight” or “Night’s on Fire” live, Lady Luck is on your side (as you’d expect her to be in Vegas)! Get your Route 91 Harvest Festival tickets and see him perform unreleased tracks off of his new album “Fighter” for the first time at Las Vegas Village, alongside country music heavyweights Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley, and Toby Keith.
A 3-day festival of this magnitude needs a little bit of planning so check out the tips below..
What: Route 91 Harvest Festival is a 3-day country music festival. Mercury Insurance has teamed up with Live Nation to give fans the chance to win VIP tickets. The festival started in Las Vegas in 2014 with headliners such as Keith Urban. Attendance continued to be impressive in 2015, and 2016 has an expected turnout of over 25,000 attendees over the 3-day event.
Lineup: Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, David Nail, Tyler Farr, Jana Kramer, Little Big Town, Dustin Lynch, Martina McBride -- to name a few.
Date: September 30, 2016 to October 2, 2016
Tickets: $210 for a 3 day pass. Mercury Insurance is also giving away 2 VIP tickets, hotel room for 3 nights and a swag bag of goodies. You can enter here for your chance to win! If you’re not feeling lucky, simply purchase a new auto policy and your Mercury agent will give you two 3-day passes as a way of saying thank you. Or do both!
Where: Route 91 artists perform at the Southern part of the Strip at the new Las Vegas Village, which boasts some impressive backdrops with Vegas landmarks such as the Luxor’s mysterious, black pyramid and Mandalay Bay’s reflective gold facade.

Nightlife: Ready to continue the party after? Call Galavantier to book all your bottle service or limousine needs at 1-877-425-2826 or log onto www.galavantier.com. Mention Route 91.
As you enter the festival, you are immediately teleported to what looks like a farm in the fall with massive bales of hay, gourds galore, and the not-so-faint sounds of lifted trucks and good ol’ American country music. Make sure your selfie game is strong because there are lots of cool pockets on the grounds where you will be able to take some amazing snaps.
Keep in mind that each wristband has an RFID chip embedded inside so buyer beware if you end up purchasing a band from a channel other than the official website, Mercury’s sweepstakes or when you purchase a policy from a Mercury agent.
If you bring your A-game and are able to hang all 3-days, stay for the last night after party, which takes place right there on festival grounds. It’s a short walk from the main stage. A classic hoe-down with all the latest country songs, line dances, and daisy dukes, it’s fun and worth checking out...
...if you can hang!
