Sydney After Dark Closes, Celine Dion Cancels Upcoming Shows
After several weeks of preview shows, Sydney After Dark has officially canceled all upcoming shows including its grand opening, which was scheduled for Friday, August 15. The show featured a bounty of beautiful and tall Australian dancers that gallivanted about onstage singing, dancing and strutting their stuff in this all-female revue.
According to rumors on the news mill, the show is looking for a more intimate venue and restructuring some of the acts and costumes. While Sydney After Dark has called it quits inside of Planet Hollywood’s Showroom, it still may return to the stages.
Celine Dion has once again canceled/postponed her very well-loved, upcoming shows at Caesars Palace. She had previously canceled shows because of “inflammation” of the throat. Now, however, she has canceled shows through mid-March of next year to be with her husband Rene Angelil who is having health issues. As of now, there is a hole in the Caesars Palace show calendar, but it’s likely to get filled quickly. Or at least that’s the hope.
