Some people say yes, there are plenty of things to do in Las Vegas for kids and then another segment of the population that would have you believe that all that is bad roams the Las Vegas strip and kids should avoid it. I have two young kids and they have spent plenty of time on the strip and I’m here to tell you that Las Vegas is a great option for a family vacation.
Las Vegas is inexpensive. Food options are plentiful and there are so many things to do with your kids in Las Vegas that they’ll be asking you to stay a little longer.
Sit by the pool. Or go shopping. You might think your options are limited during the afternoon in Las Vegas. But in addition to outdoor activities and indoor attractions (some even FREE) there are a handful of matinee show that are actually well worth your time.

I’m the cool dad. I just thought I would get that out of the way right from the start. Right after my kids soared high above a giant fan that gave them the exhilarating feeling of free falling at Vegas Indoor Skydiving, it was clear that I could get away with way more than most parents will ever dream of. I’ll be able to wear the dolphin shorts at the beach and my kids will still acknowledge me.
