It's officially started. The EDC Las Vegas planning season. Tickets recently went on sale and ravers galore flocked to the Electric Daisy Carnival's website to purchase their entry to one of the largest electronic music festivals in the world. The Life Is Beautiful 2014 festival recently welcomed 90,000 attendees to Downtown Las Vegas for it's second annual music, food, and art fest on Oct. 24 - 26. The event is part of an annual movement to inspire people to live life to the fullest, to overcome issues and to fight against bullying as well as to learn, love and grow as individuals.

It’s back, it’s bigger and it’s bustier than ever before. The Las Vegas Burlesque Festival opens with pasties, glitter and oh-so-little costume attire at The Gold Coast Hotel & Casino. Check out the events below to see some good old-fashioned sexy strip-teasing.

The second annual Life Is Beautiful festival is kicking off this weekend on Friday, Oct. 24. This year’s event is all about inspiring people to recognize the beauty in life – wherever they are in their personal lives – it is about embracing life, finding happiness and seeing the world from a different lens. Beer lovers headed to Vegas, you are in luck this September with a multitude of beer tasting events on the calendar including the Downtown Brew Festival and BLVD Brew Fest.

The Downtown Brew Festival will be held at the Clark County Amphitheater and will feature more than 150 craft beers from over 50 breweries from around the country.

As we sit on elegant couches inside of the Delano’s new Franklin bar and lounge with dimly lit lighting and a soundtrack to match, Sarah Johnson orders a round of Timmermans Oude Gueuze for the table.

My question as to where to get sour beers in Vegas was met promptly with her ordering the Timmermans. The tart, sour beer satisfied my thirst as Johnson, a soft spoken and brilliant woman of 36-years-old, discussed her vision for broadening the beer landscape in Las Vegas.

It’s another beer extravaganza weekend in Vegas and this time Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino is hosting this BEER Weekend, which will be held September 12-14. This new BEER fest will have a full smattering of activities including a panel discussion on the craft beer revolution, a five-course meal paired with specific brews, a beer brunch and more.

Calling all beer sommeliers, it’s time to sample a plethora of the world’s finest brews. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is once again bringing Desert Hops: An International Beer Experience to the Boulevard Pool this September 27.

This year, more than 150 beers from approximately 25 countries will be available to sample -- from Japan and the U.S. to Australia and more.

Get your boots and hat ready, because Route 91 Harvest is going to take over the city this October.

From the hands of Live Nation and MGM Resorts comes the revamped Route 91 music festival. Now dubbed Route 91 Harvest, the three-day music festival will take place October 3-5 at The Lot across from Luxor Hotel & Casino. The talents of Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bently and Brantley Gilbert are slated for the festival's roster along with at least a dozen other country artists.
