And maybe we are. If experience brings us wisdom, then perhaps Vegas can be the perfect judge of character, business and uniqueness.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas entertainment lineup has been heating up lately, especially on the third Monday of each month when Mark Shunock brings his hit show Mondays Dark to the Vinyl Theatre.

No matter what type of bar you prefer to frequent, Vegas likely has something to meet your needs. It's a city filled with a bevy of bars -- a blessed thing and a curse all in one. To help you out, Vegas locals got together to narrow down the best five bars in the city and the list is oh so good. The Las Vegas Bar Hall of Fame is crowned by a local, alternative news outlet that received 14,000 votes this year ranking Vegas bars based on five categories. The categories include Classic, Neighborhood, Pioneer, Best Resort/Casino and Specialty.

Get ready to rock because Sammy Hagar is coming to town and if you’ve never seen him in concert, you’re in for a treat. Kicking the July 4th celebration week off right, Hagar is playing an All-American Beach Party on the evening of Wednesday, July 2 with his band The Wabos at Paradise Beach in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Guns N’ Roses, one of the world’s hardest rocking, chart-topping bands continues with their second Las Vegas residency and fans can catch final performances on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 in The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Ladies we know you like to dress to the nines and be all dolled up for a night out in Las Vegas but all of that can be thrown away in a few seconds if you take your heels off and start prancing around barefoot. Yes, you know who were talking about.

One, it’s disgusting.

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino – booming Saturday night – celebrated the AVN Awards ceremony at The Joint, which brought out the likes of celebrity adult movie stars and die-hard fans of the industry as well as Dave Navarro, who was walking freely among the masses in his likely garb of leather pants and makeup.

Sometimes you just can’t top a classic. While Vegas continues building bigger and better clubs, one more fabulous than the next, there is still an instinct to stick with what you know and love.

And so, Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel endures. In fact, HRH tried to close down Body English and replace it with another nightclub—and while that one had its merits (Vanity is a beautiful room, and now makes a great event space), the BE fans would not be denied. The classic is back, and with just a bit of polish, better than ever.

Is it wrong that I want to pretend I’m a rock star? You can do it. You can stroll through the lobby and feel like the party is about to break out and you’ve learned how to handle the groupies. The Hard Rock Hotel has a reputation to uphold and you can be sure to add to the legend. However, I should add that with a few tips you can have the rock star atmosphere and plenty of that rest and relaxation that you might be seeking. You should walk around and look at the memorabilia on the walls.

If you a person who likes options, staying at the Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas is a wise choice. You can take your pick of aquatic lounge spots a.k.a pools--there are three in total.

Each pool offers a little something different, so you can make your rounds throughout your visit. First stop by Breathe. This partial rooftop experience (it’s located above the Nirvana pool) delivers a purely sophisticated vibe. Lay out on one of the plush white chaise lounges and don’t miss the bar that’s just steps away. This is great for a Friday arrival (and offers delicious Strip views).
