For one night only, one of the Venetian's shining restaurant stars – Delmonico Steakhouse – is hosting a five-course Templeton Rye Whiskey and pork dinner pairing. The menu infuses pork items with Templeton Rye Whiskey, which was the same whiskey that Al Capone used to flood the streets of Chicago and New York City during the Prohibition Era. Menu items for this dinner include like Cajun Boudin Boulettes, Caramelized Porchetta, Butterscotch Bacon Pudding, and Panéed Pork Chops, to name just a few.

Heading to Las Vegas can be like heading to a whole new world or, rather, several different worlds in one. It’s the destination where anything can happen. It’s also a city known for it’s delectable and, at times, outrageous cuisine and cocktail selections. Get ready for more deliciousness to hit the Vegas valley. Slated to open this fall, The Light Group is opening their first off-Strip restaurant with Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar at Red Rock Casino. The venue's kitchen and menu will be headed up by The Light Group's own Brian Massie, executive chef and partner of Hearthstone, and will focus on rustic American dishes.

Over the past several years, Vegas has grown into quite the culinary giant, making it’s mark on the restaurant world with big name chefs like Giada de Laurentiis, Mario Batali, Joël Robuchon and many more setting up shop here. The Downtown Brew Festival will be held at the Clark County Amphitheater and will feature more than 150 craft beers from over 50 breweries from around the country.

If you’re headed to Vegas over the next few weeks, you might want to take note of a few changes about town. Staying at Excalibur Hotel & Casino? Well, you’ll have to go elsewhere for your buffet options as remodeling has begin at the Excalibur Buffet and it won’t be ready until January 2015.

Those looking to stay at Westgate might want to wait until early 2015 as the hotel rooms are receiving a serious renovation that applies to more than 1,000 rooms. Until then, construction might be a bit much if you’re staying on the property.

It’s time to take a trip back to when prohibition was in full swing and the underground world of booze, tobacco and all-around depravity was an attractive lifestyle for many.

Opening this Friday, Sept. 12 is the high-energy, cheeky new show LIMELIGHT premiering at The Plaza Hotel & Casino. It’s a chance to experience a unique twist and creative endeavor onstage.
