Thanksgiving Dinner in Las Vegas
Where you choose to eat Thanksgiving dinner in Las Vegas says a lot about just how much you want to give thanks. I mean if you were to choose a really bad spot you might seem ungrateful when you start complaining about the quality of your meal.
These suggestions for Thanksgiving in Las Vegas should help you appear to be both appreciative and knowledgeable when it comes to the Las Vegas dining scene.
If you want an elegant Thanksgiving dinner with the best view of Las Vegas possible you’ll have to go to the Top of the World Restaurant at Stratosphere Tower. The four course dinner is highlighted by a Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with Pumpkin Seed Pesto and Chestnut Espuma before a Roasted Lamb Chop with Dijon Mustard and Pistachio Crust served with Couscous Caponata and Demi-Glace. You’ll then be treated to a Roasted Free Range Organic Turkey with Natural Jus served with Yukon Gold Potato with Crème Fraîche, Haricots Verts, Chicken and Apple Sausage Stuffing with Cranberry and Roasted Granny Smith Apple, and Cranberry Sauce with Ginger and Orange. The meals slows down with a Banana and Chocolate Bread Pudding with Pumpkin Ice Cream, Caramel Sauce and Candied Pecans as you gaze out on to the Las Vegas valley
Thanksgiving with a little of a tequila twits at Tacos and Tequila at Luxor Las Vegas is all about the turkey combo. The combination includes a Chile Relleno which is egg-battered and stuffed with poblano peppers and white turkey picadillo and smothered in adobo sauce. The turkey Alambre Tacos made with white and dark turkey meat, Mexican cheese, bacon and poblano peppers served in a flour tortilla with a side of rice and beans; and a Turkey Tamale smothered in mole poblano.
The Thanksgiving deal in Las Vegas exists at The D Grill in Downtown Las Vegas. From Nov. 25 – Dec 1, 2013 guests can feast on a traditional turkey dinner for $12.95. The menu is available from 4 to 11pm at the D Grill. The dinner includes herb-roasted turkey and classic accompaniments including house-made garlic rolls, creamy buttermilk-whipped potatoes, flavorful sage bread dressing and green beans almandine. If you don’t want the turkey you can opt for prime rib. What a deal!
Thanksgiving lunch at Olives at Bellagio is perfect if you are more of an afternoon give thanks person. Yes, Todd English’s place has turkey but I would go with either the Braised Pork Pappardelle or the Grilled Ribeye. If you are lucky you can score a seat out on the patio with a view of the fountains of Bellagio and the Las Vegas strip.
