The Do's and Don'ts of Vegas Gentleman's Clubs

When in comes to nightlife, Las Vegas offers a bevy of options. Vegas indeed owns the night from world-class nightclubs to gaming and dining there is no shortage of options… but gentleman clubs are one of Vegas’ foremost attractions. Vegas features some of the largest and swankiest gentleman’s clubs in the world – as well as well as the most beautiful dancers from all corners of the globe. Whether you are newly engaged bachelor looking to provide the ultimate bachelor party for the crew or looking to drink a few cocktails with the added benefit of eye candy and main stage theatrics.

DO: Take only the cash you are willing to spend.

Don’t: Use the club ATM or use your debit or credit card and spend an exorbitant sum of money you’ll regret in the morning.

This one is for the gentleman club newbs. Even if you are relatively financially free, it is very easy to get carried away with spending at a gentlemen’s club when the alcohol is flowing and you are in the presence of some of the most gorgeous ladies on the planet. Between drinks at the bar, regular dances and VIP dances you can quickly empty your pocketbook no matter how large it may be. Save yourself multiple trips to the ATM and all the fees that entails and bring a set amount of cash you’re okay with spending and leave the plastic in your hotel safe.

DO: Research clubs beforehand and choose a couple well-reviewed venues.

Don’t: Go to any club a street promoter hands you a flyer for.

Strip clubs are often an afterthought for many Vegas visitors. Venues usually fall into two categories: awesome and seedy. Visit a reputable club that treats its patrons with respect and excellent customer service. You’ll be rewarded with entertainers that enjoy what they do while providing a great atmosphere rather than employees looking to swindle as many tourists as possible for a quick buck. In addition, try and reserve one night especially for hopping around multiple gentleman’s clubs.

DO: Regardless of whether you are male or female, bring plenty of male friends.

Don’t: Bring tons of straight female friends.

Although females are known to be quite generous with novelty dances and tipping the main stage dancers, you’re more likely to be treated like a king if you are with a group of guys. Also you’ll probably be charged less at the door.

DO: Practice good hygiene beforehand and dress to impress.

Don’t: Expect any extra attention from dancers if you smell like a dumpster and/or look like a slob.

You don’t have to be Brad Pitt to get A-list treatment from entertainers. A cheerful demeanor, cleanliness and plenty of generosity will make for a fun and unforgettable night of debauchery.

DO: Feel free to admire and make eye contact with dancers on and offstage.

Don't: Gawk and stare while they're giving dances nearby or worse; interrupt another customer’s dance.

Keep in mind that dancers are there to work, and try their best to provide excellent service to all patrons. Feel free to enjoy the main stage or smile at dancers walking the floor while you’re waiting for a dancer you may have your eye set on to finish with another customer. Patience is a virtue. Nobody likes a creeper, and interrupting a dance is just rude to both the dancer and customer.

DO: Be friendly and conversational.

Don’t: Be silent, awkward, intimidated or overly flirtatious.

Dancers truly appreciate customers that are kind, polite and a little charming rather than aggressive or conceited. Simply asking how their day is going will break the ice… and if you’re charming enough you might be pleasantly surprised if a dancer extends her time with you at no extra charge to chit-chat on any number of topics.

Proper etiquette and a little veteran knowledge can make or break any strip club outing, and any Vegas trip as a whole. Need help planning your gentlemen's club soiree? We've got you covered; just click here for the hookup.
