The Insider: 4th of July in Las Vegas – Celebrations

Independence Day, is one of the most patriotic holidays of the year in the United States and in Las Vegas, celebrations are a plenty.  While the 4^th falls on a Wednesday, this doesn’t mean the celebrations are only taking place on that day, in Las Vegas, the festivities last through the weekend.  A fireworks post is coming on Wednesday but today, let’s take a look at some celebratory plans you’ll want to make for the weekend!

Keeping Cool at The Pools on July 4

• TAO Beach at The Venetian Las Vegas hosts a BBQ & Bikinis party offering $5,000 for the most patriotic bikini!  The party is free and will also feature an all-American BBQ with Hot Dogs, Burgers and Ribs.
• Wet Republic at MGM Grand hosts a Freedom Pool Party where admission for the day is free!  The ultra pool will be serving up drink specials all day long too!
• Encore Beach Club at Encore Las Vegas hosts a 4^th of July shindig with music by Dada Life.  Las Vegas locals are free; admission for out of town guests does apply.
• Silverton Hotel & Casino hosts a 4^th of July party at Sway Pool Lounge.  $4 entry features live music by Natural Heights and DJ R.O.B. as well as $4 BBQ and beverage specials and $2 Bomb Pops and Italian Ices.

Eat and Drink on July 4

• Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer at Excalibur Las Vegas will be rocking with a specially priced $17.76 Independence Day BBQ platter and running specials on Free Bird cocktails.
• PBR Rock Bar at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas is offering beer and shot specials as well as $1 bull rides
• The Stratosphere with one of the best views for fireworks hosts a Threedom to Party up high at Air Bar with $3 Sauza Tequila Shots and other drink specials.
• Ranch House Kitchen at Town Square offers patrons 20% off BBQ menu selections and will feature a all-day happy hour of $3 domestic draft beers, $3 cocktails and $10 bottomless domestic draft beers.

4^th of July Fun

• Make your way to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas and get your hands on a limited edition 4^th of July $5 gaming chip.  Visit the casino cage for details; supplies are limited.
