First Friday Las Vegas all started as the brainchild of Cindy Funkhouser, the owner of the Funk House. When she’s not conjuring up what will happen next during First Friday, she’s running Funk House with its mix of ’50s Modern pieces such as art glass, ceramics, lighting, paintings, furniture and more. This place is a must-stop just to see what you might discover next.

Brett Wesley Gallery has to be one of the favorites in Las Vegas. Here you can find internationally recognized and widely celebrated artists, such as David LaChapelle, Paul Morrison and Marilyn Minter along with emerging and mid-career artists (both local and international), including Danny Roberts, John Bell and Andrew Myers. New collectors can find help discovering their own voice in artwork.

Jennifer Main is a homegrown artist who has her own gallery going on eight years. Here you can find her mix of paintings and limited-edition prints bubbling over with her visions in vibrant colors and recognizable style. You can also find Main painting in the artist’s studio within, creating looks that will eventually end up on calendars, T-shirts, keepsake boxes and cards. The gallery is only open Monday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and by appointment on Saturdays.

If you’ve walked through the entrance to the Bellagio Las Vegas, you already know the work of Dale Chihuly. His Fiori di Como adorns the 2,100-square-foot ceiling with 2,000 pieces of glass. Just south at Crystals at CityCenter Las Vegas, you can find his 4,350-square-foot space with even more of his works in sculptures, drawings and prints.
