Heading to Las Vegas can be like heading to a whole new world or, rather, several different worlds in one. It’s the destination where anything can happen. It’s also a city known for it’s delectable and, at times, outrageous cuisine and cocktail selections. We’ve outlined five of the most interesting cocktails that you must try (if you can afford them) whether you’re on the Strip, in Downtown, or out and about in the rest of the city.

While many girls dream of their special wedding day for most of their lives, chances are their best friends are busy dreaming of throwing them the ultimate bachelorette party. Regardless if you're throwing this shindig in Vegas or not, here are some general rules of what to avoid so everyone involved has a good time.

If you don’t make it to LIMELIGHT at The Plaza Hotel & Casino by November 1, you will be missing out on one of the best shows ever creatively consummated. Making blanket statements like this isn’t often a good idea but, seriously, this is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen in oh-so-many realms.

The majestic Bellagio fountains have been known to inspire visitors to propose to their significant other, they’ve been the backdrop for thousands upon thousands of pictures and, as we all know, they’ve been featured in countless movies including Ocean’s Eleven.

Now, however, the Bellagio fountain, light and music show is amping up its musical selection to match the musical DJ diversity this town is known for. Beginning Sept. 17 at 7 p.m., the fountain and light show will also now include an “exclusive three-song medley” from one of Sin City’s hottest DJs: Tiësto.

Get ready for more deliciousness to hit the Vegas valley. Slated to open this fall, The Light Group is opening their first off-Strip restaurant with Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar at Red Rock Casino. The venue's kitchen and menu will be headed up by The Light Group's own Brian Massie, executive chef and partner of Hearthstone, and will focus on rustic American dishes.

Over the past several years, Vegas has grown into quite the culinary giant, making it’s mark on the restaurant world with big name chefs like Giada de Laurentiis, Mario Batali, Joël Robuchon and many more setting up shop here. But something that many aren’t aware of, and most vegans and vegetarians would rejoice in knowing, are the vast number of vegan and vegetarian-friendly menu options on the Las Vegas Strip and off of it.

While more of the vegetarian and vegan-based restaurants exist off of the Strip, it’s usually a short cab ride and gets you out into the city.

Beer lovers headed to Vegas, you are in luck this September with a multitude of beer tasting events on the calendar including the Downtown Brew Festival and BLVD Brew Fest.

The Downtown Brew Festival will be held at the Clark County Amphitheater and will feature more than 150 craft beers from over 50 breweries from around the country.

You know him as the main host of Absinthe – the crazy circus-esque show in the tent on Caesars Palace lawn produced from Spiegelworld. He is the Gazillionaire. He’s raunchy, rude, crude and we love him just the same because he’s hilarious and everyone is at risk for his humor whether feeling the brunt of a joke or laughing alongside at others with him.

If you’re headed to Vegas over the next few weeks, you might want to take note of a few changes about town. Staying at Excalibur Hotel & Casino? Well, you’ll have to go elsewhere for your buffet options as remodeling has begin at the Excalibur Buffet and it won’t be ready until January 2015.

Those looking to stay at Westgate might want to wait until early 2015 as the hotel rooms are receiving a serious renovation that applies to more than 1,000 rooms. Until then, construction might be a bit much if you’re staying on the property.

You need a few reasons to consider the newest hotel on the Las Vegas strip so this is the quick guide to the new SLS Las Vegas: (As I have just done a full five days of experiencing at this new property if I tell you to pace yourself you should know that the party factor is huge and there is a good chance that this place might require a little self discipline. )
