This summer is the best time to visit Vegas and find out what all the hype is about with the daylife. If you’re worried about getting in swimwear and dancing your ass off, just know that it’s Vegas and no one cares. Just as long as you’re having fun, that’s the only thing that matters. The hot list this summer includes the following dayclubs, not in any particular order – just the best of the best for 2014.

Whether you’ve been at the pool all day sipping cocktails, at the club all night downing drinks, or both, it’s Vegas and you’re probably going to want munchies in the wee hours of the morning. While most casinos and hotels have 24-hour cafes open, sometimes you want good grub to complete your fourth meal. We’ve found the best cuisines you crave when you need to slow down the effects of the alcohol after hours.

A good view can make any place seem spectacular. A view of the Las Vegas strip from high above the Las Vegas valley almost guarantees that a spot will be a success. Once you start hearing about the cocktails, the food and the atmosphere before there is even a mention of the spectacular setting you know you have to put that spot on your “to do” list.

The Wet Republic Ultra Pool at the MGM Grand is kicking off its summer season with a bang by featuring the “funky house and tribal sounds” of DJ-duo Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano on Saturday, March 29. If you can’t make it, not to worry, there is an impressive lineup throughout April. Watch for announcements in following months for the DJ lineup and events.

When in Vegas, well, anything goes, except for your attire when you’re hittin’ the clubs. It’s imperative that you adhere to the strict dress code to avoid a large, angry bouncer telling you to go back to the hotel to find something more suitable.

Just because local John Doe next to you in line gets in wearing a t-shirt and holey jeans; doesn’t guarantee you will. Play it safe. Galavantier wants you to get in the club and have a great time, so just follow the simple Do & Don’t checklist and you’re sure to get on the in-list.

Across the country, as the ground is frozen and winter is still holding steady, Las Vegas is experiencing gorgeous weather with sunny skies day in and day out. As the pools open, sandals and bikinis begin to become the uniform of spring. Right now, prior to the extreme summer months of June, July and August, is the perfect time to get in that golf trip to break up the monotony of the winter months.

Getting the girls together for a trip to Vegas is not as common as the guy trip and the reason is simple. Women are smarter than men (take it easy, as a guy I not only understand this, I accept it as fact and that allows me to lead a happier, less stressed life).

Women go to Las Vegas. Women have fun in Las Vegas. Women might even get into trouble in Las Vegas. We just don't here about it because women are smarter than men.

Simple, right?

So what do the girls do in Las Vegas?

Every year at this time this question is asked of me. Is it pool season yet? Well, contrary to popular belief it is not always pool season in Las Vegas. In fact some months are just wicked cold and your best bet is to sit in a comfortable lounge sipping on a fabulous cocktail. The pools start opening in early March and usually stay open until mid-October.
