The Memorial Day Weekend Party: Where Will You Be?

You’ll find me in the library acting cool after a quick stint in the boom box acting young and I’ll finish my night in the main room just trying to find my friends. Three distinct rooms and a lot of people who are set to have a real good Memorial Day Weekend is what you will find at Marquee at the Cosmopolitan. Start the night at the Chandelier Bar with a few cocktails and some friendly mingling. Don’t be shy, in Las Vegas everyone is your friend. Spend some time at STK Las Vegas having a drink and a snack and then consider dinner before the club. If you want quaint have a meal with a view at Scarpetta Las Vegas. The spaghetti is life altering but you have to make sure to try the polenta and go through a couple of servings in the bread basket. Yes, the Stromboli is hidden in the bread basket and it is worth visiting for. If nothing else go into the bar and get a drink and some bread. If you are looking for a bit more of a high energy meal, while you could just stay at STK why not consider Jaleo and see about getting the table right on the edge of the restaurant. The people watching is great and the food is amazing.

You’ll get a full view of Las Vegas from the bar but you’ll also spend a lot of time feeling like this is the best Memorial Day weekend of your life. Try sinking into one of the very comfortable couches or step outside and take in the view. This is a different approach to nightlife with a mix of lounge and club and just the right amount of party atmosphere to prevent you from ever wanting to leave. Before you head up make sure to have at least one cocktail at Social in the center of the casino. It is the center of the action and you might have so much fun that you’ll quickly be on your third drink before you think about dinner. If I’m you I’m having a meal at Heraea. It’s a cross between a sports book, a fine dining restaurant and a cool lounge. Don’t worry if you are not into sports, this is more of a Las Vegas restaurant that understands casual before crazy. When I say crazy I mean the late night madness that will culminate upstairs at the nightclub.
TAO Nightclub
This is the super club that seems so large that you cannot find your friends or that really attractive person you passed while walking to the restroom. Don’t worry, everyone looks good at TAO and you’ll find another real quick. Make friends with someone in the skyboxes and you’ll get a great view of the dance floor from high above. Start your night at Fusion Mixology Bar at Palazzo where they’ll make you a drink that will replace anything you have considered your favorite up to that point. Dinner should be either at Delmonico or Carnevino. Why, because as I write this I’m the mood for a good steak and they both do beef very well.
