You decide to get away to Las Vegas and you are all set for a few days of relaxation and fun at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas. You know you’ll hit the clubs what with Tryst, XS and Surrender just begging for your attention but what else should you consider while you are doing Vegas right? Well, I have a few ideas for you and I am pretty sure that after this quick getaway you will need a vacation from your vacation.

You will need to eat and these two properties have their share of places for a good meal. Don’t forget Wazuzu, Botero and SW Steak but you need to go in and have some fresh Hawaiian fish at Lakeside Seafood. They are flying in fish daily from Hawaii. In other words, the chef gets on the phone with his fisherman on Maui, Oahu and the Big Island and they fill him in on what they caught. It is on the menu hours later. Yes, you need to try some Ono or Opakapaka with a view of the Wynn waterfall.

I hope you packed your sticks because if you play golf you need a round at the Wynn Country Club. The fairways are tight and the greens can be a little slick but it is hard not to have a good time. Drop your ball in the center and it sits up nice ready for you to threaten the pin. However, if you decide that you want to be a bit wayward with your game you might be in for a challenge. No worries, your caddy will help you “find” your ball.

Spend an afternoon with drinks at La Cave Wine and Food Hideaway and you’ll be tempted to indulge in a few of their small plates on the menu. You can’t help it and you shouldn’t it. Find a spot on the patio and take in the view as you make a few new friends while the cocktail sampling increases.

The options don’t end there as the Spa at Encore is among the best on the Las Vegas strip. Shopping at Wynn is fabulous if you need that crazy expensive pair of shoes or the bedazzled purse. Drinks at Parasol Down should be on you must do list and of course you have to consider a few hours on a daybed at Encore Beach Club.
