This Weekend In Las Vegas September 27 - 31, 2013
It’s the weekend and you are so ready to get started with a three day party.
First, NHL Hockey fans should be excited as the regular season is set to begin next week but first the appetizer before the main course. The Los Angeles Kings will host two games as part of the Annual Frozen Fury events at the MGM Grand Garden. Tonight the New York Rangers take on the Los Angeles Kings in what proves to be a tune up for the Los Angeles Kings home opener in 2 weeks. Arguably the two best goaltenders in the world will face off when Jonathan Quick and Hendrik Lundqvist step onto the frozen water inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Saturday night the Colorado Avalanche play the Kings in the last game of the preseason for both teams.
After the games end you’ll be need to change out of your hockey sweaters and into your nightlife garb.
Hakkasan Las Vegas is just a few steps away and this weekend is huge just like every other weekend at this mega nightclub that incorporates everything you need for a complete Las Vegas nightlife experience.
The line-up at Hakkasan this weekend:
Friday: Hardwell with Bambi
Saturday: Tiësto with Tony Arzadon
Sunday: Steve Aoki with Quintino
Before you head into the club have a drink and some comfort food at PUB 1842 or Sushi at Shibuya. Of course you can eat at Hakkasan as well but you’re in Vegas you need to mix it up a bit.
TIP: So you meet someone and you want to find a spot to have a drink and a conversation outside the club. You can seek out the West Wing Bar and sit in one of the booths that have the futuristic wrap around overhead leather seating areas. The bar is quaint and rarely crowded so if you need a spot to chat this is perfect.
If you head to XS at Encore you’ll be sure to encounter the crowds as no matter what is going on in Las Vegas this nightclub is always the place to be. The weather is still perfect for a little indoor/outdoor dancing action.
The line-up at XS this weekend:
Friday: David Guetta
Saturday: Avicii
Sunday: Eric Prydz
Monday: Chris Lake
While you are there you might as well enjoy a meal at La Cave or a drink at Parasol Down to lubricate your early evening into an easy transition to a late night.
TIP: Sunday morning you’ll be hungry and you’ll need to replenish your soul. Head into the Country Club brunch at Wynn for the best brunch of your life. Grub down on the spread or order something off the menu, whatever you do you have to have the shrimp and grits.
