Three New Hotels To Talk About in Las Vegas
The landscape of Las Vegas seems to change daily and what you thought was your favorite spot yesterday might drop off the list tomorrow. That usually holds true for nightclubs, restaurants and shows but you can usually expect a steady sense of consistency when it comes to Hotels. Not right now. Las Vegas is welcoming three new properties and you can be sure that each delivers a different new and exciting perspective.
It’s time for you to get acquainted with The Cromwell, The Delano and SLS Las Vegas
The Cromwell
From the sexy rooms to the quaint check-in desk you’ll quickly realize that this boutique property on the Las Vegas strip has a sense of charm that you might have thought was not possible on one of the busiest intersections on Las Vegas Bvld. Aside from some rooms with thin walls you’ll find a completely revamped looked inside the hotel with dark tones and bright mirrors. The shower and its inspirational messages and the chess board almost encourage you to stay in for the night. Giada De Laurentiis has opened an Italian restaurant on the 2nd floor and if the view of the strip does not tempt you to return you can bet that the salumi will. This fine dining experience is posh and just as sexy as the rest of the property.
SLS Las Vegas
This resort that just opened takes over the old Sahara Hotel site and you’ll get a sense that they have not entirely thrown out some important Las Vegas history. There is an ode to the past in the rooms and in the decor in places all around the property. You’ll need to check out LIFE nightclub but you’ll start the evening at Ku Noodle, have a drink at the Sayers Club and then do the club. Yes, you will eventually stuff your face with pancakes from the Griddle. LA Restaurants Katsuya, 800 Degrees Pizza and Umami Burger have opened outposts at this new gem on the strip. Foxtail is another option for a VIP nightlife experience and Jose Andres has outdone himself with Bazaar Meat.
The Delano
This property opens in early September at the The Hotel at Mandalay Bay. Gone are the dark tones in the spacious rooms and the new look is bright and modern. This luxury non-gaming property still has access to all the good stuff at Mandalay Bay as well as housing Della’s Kitchen and Franklin, your new place for cocktails. Those of you MIX fans can still go upstairs and take in the view at this impressive lounge.
