Time To Dance at the 27th Annual Black & White Party
Save the date people! August 24 at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas the 27th annual Black & White Party to benefit AFAN. Aid For AIDS of Nevada is hosting a huge party and you can be a part of it. Aside from the huge party and the excessive amount of entertainment that will be offered you’ll be having fun and helping out a good cause at the same time.
AFAN is the largest and oldest AIDS service organization in the state of Nevada. AFAN works to help adults and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS through programs ranging from education, community outreach and prevention to food programs and client services. Their mission to provide “client service programs that assist in enhancing the physical health and psychosocial wellness of the individuals they serve, while promoting dignity and improving the quality of their lives” is possible through help from the community and events such as the Black and White Party.
The Experience
This year Veronic will be highlighting her ability to recreate the fabulous voices of performers such as Celine Dion and Lady Gaga. Veronic is currently headlining at Bally’s Las Vegas and guests at this years Black & White party will get a taste of her talents in a special performance. Other entertainers scheduled to appear include the cast of “The D*Word-A Musical”; famed Britney Spears impersonator Derrick Barry from Divas Las Vegas; the ladies of FANTASY at Luxor; singer Maren Wade from NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”; Mark Shunock, the star of “Rock of Ages” at The Venetian; the high-energy percussion, humor and athleticism of Recycled Percussion at The Quad Resort & Casino; the sexy acrobatics of The Skating Aratas from "V-The Ultimate Variety Show" from the V Theater in Planet Hollywood; a number from Tony n' Tina's Wedding; headlining acts from “VEGAS! The Show” from the Saxe Theater in Planet Hollywood; and Zodiac Dragon, a multi-genre multimedia immersion.
You can also experience more than 25 food and beverage vendors, roaming entertainment as well as random and impromptu performances by the Nevada Ballet Theatre as well as raffle prices and fashion contests.
Tickets for AFAN Black & White Party
Guest must be 21 years or older. General admission tickets are on sale for $35 per person; limited VIP tickets are available for $100 per ticket and include early entry to the event at 8 p.m. with first access to tastings and vendors, an exclusive gift bag and distinctive VIP party entertainment.
