Travel Through A Lens: VORE (Vegas Off-Road Experience)

Heading out to VORE I was excited about driving an off-road truck but nothing can compare to the excitement and thrill that was racing around their custom built track.  After going through a brief (trust me, must needed) safety course it was time to climb into a VORE ROUGHRIDER truck and get dirty!

Being a novice when it comes to off-roading, my heart was pounding at first but that was because the adrenaline had kicked in and I was ready to catch whip around the track and catch some big time air.  The first lap was more of an introductory, get use to the grounds, the feel behind the wheel and coast around the track but after that it was full throttle.

After the first turn I hauled my truck and wound up in a man-dug ditch about six floors down!  From there it was time to ramp up the RPMs and pop out of the ditch and then this is when the real fun occurs as you put the pedal to the metal and hit the first jump.  But no time to relax as a second jump follows where I got about 40-feet in the air before hitting the ground and continuing to whip around to the next portion of the track.  A few more twists and turns and a jump or two and repeat for about 10 laps.  Talk about a thrill, I could have never imagined it being this much fun and all I wanted to do after was turn around and go back for another race.

VORE brought out the kid in my and I seriously can't wait to get back out there because it was an experience I haven't stopped thinking or talking about since.
