Carrying on?:  If you find yourself flying this summer, here’s a list of essentials to keep in your carry-on/purse.

Time for a check-up: Planning to hit the pavement for your travels? Now is the time you want to schedule your service appointment to check you’re A/C, brakes, battery and more.  Better safe than sorry.

Photo Copy: Don’t overlook these, make sure to take photos and make copies of your key documents.  That means your driver’s license, passport, credit cards, license plate, belongings, etc.  In the event something happens, you’ll be thankful you have that copy and/or photo.

Stay hydrated: The summer brings squelching heat which means you need to be careful of dehydration.  Make sure to always have a water bottle with you and keep drinking water throughout the day.  A flavored energy drink is also good but be careful of the amount of sugar.

Cover up: Sunscreen is your best friend in the summer heat, especially in Las Vegas.  With temperatures regularly in the triple digits, it’s best to apply sunscreen every couple of hours in the desert. And opt for the lotion, not the spray as you’ll be better protected.

Pack Light: Try to really be as minimalistic as possible and you will feel better once you reach your destination.  And being that it is summer vacation, how much clothing do you really need?
