It's something we do every day. Whether it's to work, to the store down the street or all the way around the world, to places foreign to anyone not from there. It may actually be one of the most overlooked aspects of our everyday lives. The only time it's of real importance is when we are late in travel (frequently), early in travel (seldomly) and more often than not when we actually plan travel. But what really is travel? At its uttermost basic description travel is defined as going from one place to another, as by car, train, plane, or ship; take a trip; journey: to travel for pleasure.
This is the definition according to dictionary.com. T.S. Eliot once said, “The journey not the arrival matters". As you read that, think back to your life. Where you're from and where you are now. What have you done and what do you want to do? Think back to where you saw yourself today, and where you actually are now. Most likely, things are different. Much different. To me, travel is my life. The things I will never forget, those are my journey. But most importantly, what is travel to you?
