Vegas Gossip: What's Hot, What's Not & Happening Around Town

We're back with another round of what's going on in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada, where the venues never stop shuttering and throwing grand opening parties! Thankfully you don't have to keep tabs on what the hottest new restaurants and clubs are, we're here to do all that heavy lifting for you. Check it out:

Omnia Nightclub DJ Lineup

Hakkasan Group has been keeping pretty much everything about their new club, Omnia, under some pretty secretive wraps. With the opening still slated for a "Spring 2015" date, we can now geek out with some solid information about who will be performing there. Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Chuckie, Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, Krewella, Nervo, Nicky Romero and Showtek are all on the artist roster. Proceed to EDM-geek-out.

Diana Ross at The Venetian

The 70-year-old superstar diva, Diana Ross, will be starting her limited time residency at The Venetian from April 1 - 18. Perhaps this is a perfect retaliation to Caesars' Mariah Carey residency announcement, because where would Mariah be without the paved road Diana created, but we're down to see both shows regardless. You can expect Diana to sing her top hits like Ain't No Mountain High Enough, I'm Coming Out, and Endless Love.

"Frank - The Man. The Music." at The Palazzo

Frank Palazzo

We all know what a big deal the original Frank Sinatra was for the city of Las Vegas, but now you're able to check out one of the best tribute shows that The Strip has ever come across. A live, 32-piece orchestra really makes the show a truthful, talented production and performer/Frank Sinatra impersonator Bob Anderson undergoes an epic makeup transformation to look exactly like Sinatra for some added authenticity. The show runs through three phases of Sinatra's life to pull the show's "story" along, with songs from his studio recording, TV specials, and then personal appearances.  It's definitely worth checking out Frank if you're ready for some talented singing.

White Castle on The Strip

Praise the burger gods, we finally have access to Crave Cases! Before this month, the closest White Castle was more than 1,500 miles away in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. If you're from the Midwest like me, or just a Westerner who's only had access to the frozen versions, you're probably relishing in the proximity of a real-life White Castle on the Vegas Strip at Casino Royale. The castle had to shut down a few times to restock after such a crazy influx of demand, even though they're supposed to be open 24/7. So, yes, they're pretty popular. Get your sliders and chicken rings now!

Craig Ferguson at Cosmopolitan

Craig Ferguson's Hot & Grumpy Tour: Walking the Earth will be coming to The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan's on Friday, March 13. Tickets from $25 are now on sale.

Cracker Barrel
There have been rumors circulating the internet that the first Cracker Barrel in Nevada may have some under-wraps plans to open in North Las Vegas. It all started with a LinkedIn post about a signage request for the Cracker Barrel sign near an existing In-N-Out Burger and another restaurant to be announced. Not necessarily the hottest new venue to come to the city, but it will certainly have a place in everyone's hearts if we can get our biscuits & gravy and corncob pipes in one spot soon.

Tom's Urban at NYNY Hotel & Casino

There's a new promenade perfect for foodies developing in a new part of the Strip. We're talking about The Park in between NYNY and Monte Carlo, and this latest influx of openings is coming from the Strip-facing facade of New York New York with the opening of Shake Shack and Tom's Urban. We covered Shake Shack in our last edition of Vegas Gossip, and though everything was a bit on the salty side, we're certainly excited to try Tom's Urban right next door. It's a dining/drinking establishment with a focus on classics with a twist, looking primarily American with some Asian influences. The outside patio area is going to be perfect on those nice Vegas days (which is pretty much 95 percent of them).
