What You’ll Do Tonight In Las Vegas

Let’s just say you only have one night in Las Vegas. You want to have fun but you don’t want to waste any time. You want to hit the hot spots but you do not have the luxury of hoping that a place is right for you. That is why you and I are hooking up. I know Las Vegas and you want to have fun. I drink, eat and spend far too much time talking to strangers so that you do not have to worry about a single thing when you decide to let loose for one night in Las Vegas. That night is tonight, so let's do this.

Check into Nobu at Caesars Palace
I like the feel of this boutique style hotel inside Caesars Palace. Frankly, the colors make me look younger in the mirrors. The beds are the type of comfortable that I want to wrap myself in the duvet and sit in front of the tv with a half-gallon of ice cream. The wood furnishings feel like home and the layout in the restroom keeps me in there just long enough to help me comb my hair. (If you’ve seen my hair you’d realize that I don’t enjoy grooming)

Have some cocktails before dinner
With one night to have some fun you’ll have to sample a few fine cocktails. Don’t get caught up in drinking too much as you have to hit a few places. Check out this list of places to stop in for a quality drink. Put your walking shoes on because you will be hitting a few spots. The Old Cuban at Rhumbar and the Lemon Verbena are two of my favorites. Check out the list and have at least 3. You have one night make it count.

Dinner in Las Vegas
Well you have to eat so I’m giving you a few suggestions along with a morning option that is less an option and more a must do. When I tell you that you should sample some food from Thomas Keller, Scott Conant and Joel Robuchon you should listen. If you still need to satisfy your appetite you’ll then go and visit Chef Brian Howard at Comme Ca as well.

Dancing in Las Vegas
This time of year you have to step in to XS at Encore because the space by the water is where you want to be. You get something similar at Surrender and the waterfall at Tryst gets you a water themes but I need some space with my nightclub experience. Stroll around the nightclub, mingle with strangers and dance under the stars. There is very little chance that you will not have a very good time at XS nightclub.
