It's about that time again, Halloween Weekend is here and chock full of things to do, people to see and DJs to hear! One of my favorite sources for what’s going on in town is the Las Vegas Weekly, which has the essential guide to partying the weekend away! Visiting Las Vegas for many of us is an excuse to treat ourselves to a vacation that's a notch above the way we live every day. The Palazzo Las Vegas allows us to do just that with a little modern European elegance. This is apparent throughout the entire resort where a chic and modern look reigns supreme from the casino and shoppes to the all suite accommodations where even the smallest suites measures over 700 square feet.

• It’s all about “Pumped Up Kicks” as indie rockers Foster The People return to Las Vegas and play poolside at The Cosmopolitan.  Tickets are $30.80.

Like its namesake, Absinthe, the show on the Strip at Caesars Palace, can make you feel like you took a psychoactive drug. Suddenly, you’re addicted. After all, how do you explain the hard-to-believe acrobatics that take place, including tightrope walkers doing keg stands and a roller skating dynamic duo spinning on a nine-foot diameter stage without knocking out an audience member’s tooth? Perhaps that’s what happened to The Gazilionnaire, the ringleader of the show sporting a gold front tooth and gold shoes.

Aria and CityCenter have plenty of big name chefs and high priced restaurants  in its roster, but when Union changed their menu they may have vaulted themselves to the top of the pile.

Union considers itself a spirited, edgy, contemporary-American restaurant & lounge featuring fresh, seasonal fare paired with an eclectic selection of American and International wines, as well as an extensive cocktail list conceptualized and prepared by expert in-house mixologists.

When October rolls around, Las Vegas gets scary. The ghosts and ghouls come out to scare the pants off you at haunted attractions that pop up during the Halloween season. We have 11 spooky ways to get a good scare in Sin City.
