Across the country, as the ground is frozen and winter is still holding steady, Las Vegas is experiencing gorgeous weather with sunny skies day in and day out. As the pools open, sandals and bikinis begin to become the uniform of spring. Right now, prior to the extreme summer months of June, July and August, is the perfect time to get in that golf trip to break up the monotony of the winter months.

One of Galavantier’s favorite holidays of the year is quickly approaching – a day that celebrates the great Irish heritage with green beer and corned beef hash. Saint Patrick’s Day in Las Vegas melds two worlds together including the always “on” Vegas nightlife with the highly celebratory holiday of the Irish.

Depending on where you choose to celebrate this most festive of events will determine your level of commitment to the holiday.  From live bands and parades to Jameson shots and Irish breakfasts, there is going to be something for everyone.

Sin City recently welcomed its newest addition to the world of gentlemen’s establishments: meet The Gold Club. Located off of the Strip across from the locals’ hangout Town Square, The Gold Club is an intimate place just under 5,000 square feet. Although on the smaller side, it is classy, with an upscale ambiance, and aims at keeping the fundamentals simple.

The simplicity of the burger is what makes it so beloved. It really is only a piece of ground meat between two pieces of bread, right? Well, not so fast.  Beef is not just beef and who really orders a plain burger? There is no better cheap meal in Las Vegas than the burger and a beer. Las Vegas is known for decadence, amusement, and glam, but this oasis in the desert is also a hot spot for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Less than 20 miles away from the infamous Strip is Red Rock Canyon. A haven for hikers, photographers, bicycle riders, horseback riders and, lately, an increasing number of rock climbers.

The Electric Daisy Carnival  (EDC), deemed a modern-day Woodstock festival by some, has officially sold out for the 2014 event on June 20-22. Tickets went on sale last year, but officially sold out on Friday for the annual event -- now in it's 18th year.

The festival gathers the best of electronic dance music’s DJs at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway with patrons from around the world converging in colorful costumes, glow-in-the-dark makeup, and tutus. The festival is expected to see 400,000 people this year, which is an increase of 14 percent over last year.

If you haven’t already seen Rose.Rabbit.Lie. at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas you should put that at the top of your list. If you have seen the show then go in and have a drink, have dinner or just stick around for the late night action. An entire evening of entertainment that starts off at the bar for drinks and moves into dinner in the dinning room and soon you are seeing a show in the showroom. As the evening progresses find a room for some lounging and then wait until the dancing gets going.
