For some strange reason, Vegas isn't always the first city one thinks of when it comes to Halloween. Maybe it's our lack of a true fall season, or maybe it's the fact that you can't imagine children trick or treating on The Strip. But Vegas is one of the best cities to celebrate Hallow's Eve. Only a few cities can match the eerie vibes that the desert landscape provides. Perhaps only the ghostly swamps of New Orleans can compete. That being said, nothing tops Sin City when it comes to celebrating Halloween as an adult.

It’s another festival weekend in Las Vegas! The annual Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival returns on Friday, Sept. 25 for three days of entertainment and inspiration. This festival isn’t just a great time to experience live performances from popular artists, it also gives you an opportunity to learn from distinguished leaders, indulge in culinary excellence and enjoy fantastic artwork.

We don’t know about you, but we’re ready for summertime pool parties to cool down and Ghostbar Dayclub madness to heat up! Get your onesies and fanny packs ready! The one and only Ghostbar Dayclub, also known as GBDC, is returning for its fifth season of crazed debauchery and daytime mayhem on Saturday, Oct. 17.

It’s September! Do you know what that means? It’s time for iHeartRadio’s annual music festival at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Every year, iHeartRadio brings together some of the hottest names in music and this year is no exception. The sold out festival is taking place on Sept. 18 and Sept. 19. Headliners include Sam Smith, Demi Lovato, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Jennifer Lopez, Nick Jonas and more.

Hey, Vegas! Are you ready to show off your PRIDE? That’s right. Pride Week is here and there are a bunch of exciting things happening around town. It’s time to show your support and celebrate in the name of love and diversity. Clear your schedules and head over to Downtown Las Vegas on Sept. 18 for the Annual Pride Night Parade. The pre-show for the parade kicks off at 7 pm at the Main Stage on Bridger Avenue. Immediately following the pre-show, the parade begins at 8 pm on West Charleston Blvd. and heads north along 4th Street to Ogden Avenue.

During this past weekend, The National Football League began its official season. Hardcore fans and enthusiasts across the nation donned their jerseys, shotgunned their beers, and headed to their respective stadiums or neighborhood sports bars to watch their favorite teams do battle. There is no debate – football (not soccer!) is the U.S.A.'s biggest sport. Given that Las Vegas is seriously lacking any sort of professional sports team whatsoever, the best we can do for the time being is partying as hard as possible and rooting for whichever team we happen to have money riding on.

Many did not expect this past Labor Day Weekend in Las Vegas to have such a phenomenal turnout, but  an estimated 315,000 visitors checked in to Sin City hotels over the 3-day holiday. Many last minute vacationers were met with sold out pool parties and nightclubs attempting to squeeze in wherever they could. Not to mention the eclectic artist lineups... It seems that every Hip-Hop artist that has ever had a hit single was either hosting or performing at the various nightclubs and day parties across the strip.

Did you miss the LAVO nightlife scene? We did. That’s why we’re excited about the grand opening of LAVO Casino Club this week. The revamped club is offering a unique Las Vegas experience where guests can enjoy a variety of entertainment options all in one space. Time to get pumped! Insomniac just announced the dates and ticket details for Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas 2016. Clear your schedules for EDC 2016, set to take place on June 17, 18 and 19. Next year’s annual EDC event marks its 20th anniversary under the electric sky. Be sure to prepare yourselves because tickets go on sale in just TWO WEEKS! On Monday, Sept. 21 you can start buying your tickets online at noon PST.

If you didn't get the memo yet, Sin City is where LDW actually happens. If you are lucky enough to make it down here for this epic weekend, we're sure you're more than excited.
