When it comes to Las Vegas, we are definitely not foreigners to the adrenaline chase and some high risk situations. In fact, we've come to make a business out of it. That's why the subject of drag racing has been a recurring conversation in our city and not yet realized to its full potential.

Gorgeous women and some of the best (if not the best) gentlemen’s clubs in the world – that’s  what we’re talking about today. I was given the daunting task of writing a brief guide about such things. I’ll try to be as politically correct as possible; yet I may also completely fail.

Dim Sum, the Chinese dish of small steamed or fried dumplings containing an assortment of fillings, is a delectable trend and we’ve scoured Las Vegas in search of the best Dim Sum. Spending many man-hours discovering the good, the bad, and the ugly. Below you’ll find the five best places to get the delectable small bites in town both on the Strip and off of the Strip.

This city is in a content state of flux. We shutter venues and buildings left and right then revel in the excitement of a newcomer, poised to deliver judgement about all faults and strengths since we’re all self-proclaimed experts. Look out world, Absinthe's own Penny Pibbets is going solo and she's off to a strong start! Althought she's diminutive in stature, she's a giant in comedy, so we can only imagine a great time going to see this spitfire performer in her element. Pibbets recently completed a Kickstarter fund to help with the show's production, well exceeding the requested $19,990 goal.

Yes, that's right - another new club is headed to the Strip. Coming from the Hakkasan Group is the new Omnia Nightclub slated to open Spring 2015. For those of you awaiting a translation, "Omnia" is Latin for "all things" or "everything." We can expect great things from designers Rockwell Group as they deck out the 75,000-square-foot space inside Caesars Palace where Pure Nightclub was formerly located. What is interesting is that this club will have a sister property in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, another thriving area for nightlife (though Vegas still reigns supreme).

College Football is a fan’s game… Fan-a-tics, that is. It seems that everyone has a rooting interest in a team because you were born there, graduated from there, or you bet on them (a Vegas specialty). Being born and raised in the south, football is in my blood. My life's schedule is dictated by when Tennessee is playing. Beyond my Volunteers, I'm a complete nut for this sport. It can be MACtion Tuesday, Thursday Primetime games, and of course Saturdays – anyway you can rest assured that I will be watching.
