Eating In Las Vegas: Nobu at Caesars Palace
The Experience
The lounge at Nobu is where the action is at. Some might say you should head to the sushi bar while others will comment about the atmosphere in the dining room. Yes, those places are fine, but I’m all about getting comfortable. I’m the type of person who likes havng bad posture while eating good food. I like to sink into a large chair while sipping a cocktail. I like a flirtatious smile amongst a couple of people while snacking on a few small dishes.
Find a seat in the lounge at Nobu at Caesars Palace and you’ll get the vibe I’m talking about. It’s not just the upscale feel of the place it is more about the way the clientele feel like they are about to have a good time. Look around, if you are not smiling you clearly don’t know how to experience Las Vegas.
Who You Are Taking To The Restaurant
I’m taking my wife but you are taking a date. In fact you are taking the person that enjoys a cocktail and conversation. You want someone who can appreciate some fine sushi but also needs some atmosphere with their food. The energy will transform the evening so you have to be willing to take it to the next level. The lounge at Nobu is like an upscale club before they open the doors to everyone else. Have some good food and make some new friends.
What You’ll Order
If I’m sitting in the lounge with you at Nobu I’m ordering the Black Cod, the spicy beef skewers, The yellowtail with jalapeno that has this ponzu that I’m sure is not ponzu but tastes divine anyway. I’m probably going for a little sashimi as well and you know if it is at Nobu it as the very best and freshest fish you can get in Las Vegas.
