Let's be real - not everyone who comes to Las Vegas is a tech mogul high-roller, a Rich Kid of Instagram or even a person who's got it all "together." (Some of us have student loans to pay off, am I right?) But this doesn't mean that we can't smartly splurge on a trip to the City of Sin and hit every fun item on our To-Do lists. Here's how you can cross off five amazing activities in the city and not get a pesky overdraft fee.

Creators of the Life is Beautiful Festival in Downtown Las Vegas have announced this year's art, music and food lineup for the now three-day cultural event in its second year of operation.

The festival is slated for Friday, October 24 through Sunday, October 26, “featuring nearly 70 chart-topping acts, dozens of culinary giants, and world-renowned speakers.” The event was created last year as a way to bring growth and further attention to Downtown Vegas as well as the local arts community that is progressively expanding.

Container Park in Downtown Las Vegas opened in November last year, but since then it has added various stores and eateries as well as a lineup of entertainment. The 19,000-square-foot park is made from approximately “30 shipping containers and 41 multifunctional modular cubes.”

The storefronts act as a perimeter around a playground in the Fremont Street Experience. Container Park is a unique concept in Vegas.

If it has been sometime since you walked past the Monte Carlo Resort on the Las Vegas strip you just might have some difficulty recognizing what has gone on in the past few months. The changes have transformed the entrance into an open air dining area that will have you considering a few long lingering meals with a view of the strip. The new look includes 800 Degrees Pizza, Double Barrel Roadhouse, Yusho Japanese Grill & Noodle House, Blvd. Creamery and Sambalatte.
