One of the best things about heading to Las Vegas is the celeb-style treatment you get.  And I’ll be the first to tell you that if you book at the Palms Casino Resort, you’re definitely going to feel like a VIP from the time you arrive until the time you depart.

It’s that time once again, St. Patrick’s Day and if you find yourself coming to Las Vegas you are in store for one gigantic party as celebrations will be happening all over The Strip and green beer will be flowing.  As St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Saturday, the party will start early and last all night long.  While there are numerous parties and places to celebrate on the Las Vegas Strip, here’s a list of some top tier happenings you are going to want to experience.

In the words of Darryl Waltrip, “Boggity boogity boogity, let’s go racing boys” and that’s exactly what is happening this weekend in Las Vegas.  All eyes will be on the entertainment capital of the world as the Las Vegas Motor Speedway plays home to NASCAR and both the Sprint Cup Series and Nationwide Series.  From Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon to Las Vegas’ own Busch Brothers, Kurt and Kyle, Sin City will be smoking hot this weekend for the annual stop on the race schedule.

Just announced, Zarkana, the Cirque du Soleil show that has been enjoyed by over 1 million spectators in New York, Madrid and Moscow is coming to Las Vegas.  The show which will appear at ARIA Resort & Casino at CityCenter Las Vegas will take the place of Viva ELVIS which is located on the second floor of the resort.  The first public performance of Zarkana is scheduled to be held on October 25.

Bringing southern hospitality to the heart of Sin City, Gilley’s Saloon at Treasure Island Las Vegas is what’s known in some circles as the other kind of country club. You know, the kind that favors honky tonk and bbq to golf clubs and repression.
