The Insider: Swim-up Gaming at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas

Who said you can’t have it all? Certainly not anyone who’s spent time at the Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas and tried their hand at Swim-up Gaming.

Swim-up Gaming means not having to towel off and head indoors to enjoy a friendly game of blackjack with your buddies. Not only are the swim-up gaming tables a perfect excuse to take a break from sunbathing, but they offer a chance to try your luck and possibly swim back to your cabana with a handful of cash. So take a seat on one of the under waters chairs, let your feet dangle and make nice with the dealer.

The location of the tables is pretty divine, they’re located beneath the Palapa Hut and connected to the Nirvana Bar & Grill where you are free to order up winning bites (go for the Buffalo Chicken Wrap) and a Bloody Mary or three. Being situated underneath the Palapa makes for a treat, as most swim up gaming spots won’t shield your shoulders from the (sometimes unforgiving) Las Vegas sun.

If you see your toes are “going raisin” on you, hop out of the pool and over to the Craps tables and additional Blackjack spots under the hut.  It’s pretty wonderful that Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas realizes that the excitement of gaming shouldn’t be limited to casinos. Sure beats Marco Polo.

Insider tip to remember: If you find yourself at pooling it at the Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas for Summer Camp Fridays, Nectar Music Festival Saturday or Rehab Sundays, escape the pandemonium and play a few hands to separate yourself from the masses. It will be a exciting breather you’ll surely be thankful for.
