Travel In A Minute: The Endless Summer

It's that time of the year when the Parrot heads invade Las Vegas, Jimmy Buffet and the Coral Reefer band is playing the MGM Grand Garden Arena Oct. 20 and Oct. 27.  If you've never done it, you owe it to yourself. You’ll be singing along to Jimmy for the rest of the week.

If you want to spend some time around real sailors the America’s Cup trials are happening in San Francisco Oct. 2nd – 7th. While you are there enjoy San Francisco Bay and Golden Gate Park and make sure to stroll through the California Academy of Sciences.

All this talk about sailing should have you motivated to pull up the main sail and hit the Pacific Ocean for sailing lessons at the Dana Point Harbor.  If you can’t make it out to California, perhaps a quick drive to Lake Mead for a Lake Mead Cruise Tour may just be what the doctor ordered.
