Finding Treasures at Caesars Palace

We've explored some hidden gems at The Cosmopolitan, so now let's expose some favorite, lesser-known treasures that we love at Caesars Palace. And no, Caesar did not actually live here.

Shadow Bar
It's not like the Vegas lounge has been reinvented by any means, but this chic lounge is probably the epitome of what most people would think of when someone says "Vegas lounge." The music is never overwhelming where you can't carry on a conversation, which is a big plus for someone like me who surrounds herself with quality storytellers. The drinks are good, even if they are the expected Strip cocktail prices (at or around $13). The best part is being able to glance over to the shadow screen while sipping your cocktail and see the silhouetted figure of one or two girls dancing, exactly like the intro to a Bond movie.

Sushi Roku
Maybe not so much a secret anymore, this sushi restaurant over in the Forum Shops still caters to those with refined taste and a love for sushi. You can sample rolls, sashimi, nigiri - the works. Plus, a slew of great appetizers and a happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. (until 6 p.m. on Friday & Saturday) make this gem a pretty great steal when you go during the right hours. Do not miss out on the Rock Shrimp Tempura, Miso Eggplant or Edamame Hummus.

Matt Goss
Swoon overload. I don't mean to get too "fan girly" on you guys, but have you ever seen this guy? Brit singing sensation Matt Goss, who has sold over 17 million records, has a residency here at Caesars in an intimate showroom. He'll be singing to your soul, playing guitar to your feet, and staring into your eyes all night. Don't worry, guys. "The Dirty Virgins" parade around in skimpy outfits and interact with the audience to give a little bit more sex appeal (as if the show needed it) and are choreographed by Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin.
